When Chi Jiao reached the manor, the first thing she saw was Gu Xia panting hard as he ran. Closely behind him was Shen Liao, while Yan Zhengchen and Gong Lu were sitting together peacefully.
“Master Jiao, I’ll leave first. Have a nice chat with the big shots.” Na Yankun felt very pressured every time he interacted with them. Therefore, he bade Chi Jiao farewell.

As she spoke, her gaze was fixed on Shen Liao sitting opposite her.
However, Shen Liao was looking down, pretending not to see her.
Gong Lu nodded and walked towards the villa not far away. “I’ll get some warm milk for you to warm up.”
Gu Xia looked at Chi Jiao, then at Shen Liao, and sighed faintly.

She didn’t actually plan to eat it, and Yan Zhengchen didn’t really want her to either.
They were just trying to agitate a certain someone.
Shen Liao looked up at her with a helpless and doting gaze. “I really can’t handle you.”
“It was my last-minute decision to leave Mount Li and return here. I’m very sorry for not discussing it with you all,” Chi Jiao said softly, knowing what he was angry about.
