One of the Xuan Sect subordinates, Teng Ying, was tired from all the beating. He stopped and frowned at She Qi. “Your skin is really thick!”
She Qi laughed out loud with a disdainful expression. “You’re tired already? Looks like the people from the Xuan Sect are just so-so. They’re actually so weak. What kind of boss is Quan Jue? The people he trained don’t even know how to interrogate someone.
“Shut up! You’re the Xuan Sect’s disgrace. What right do you have to criticize our boss?!” With that, Teng Ying threw the whip to the ground. He took a deep breath and quickly raised his hand. His movements were rapid as he formed hand seals.
As his hands flew through the various seals, an array formation suddenly rose from under Teng Ying’s feet. Groups of silver-white ants suddenly surged out of the array formation and charged towards She Qi.
She Qi’s expression changed visibly, and he instinctively wanted to shift his body.
However, he was tied to the pillar and could not move. There was no room for him to retreat. He could only watch as the swarm of ants gradually crawled up his feet.
Soon, the ants reached the wound on his leg and crawled in without hesitation.
She Qi trembled as if he was spasming. Cold sweat poured out of his forehead as he convulsed in pain.
These were not real ants. They were created from Teng Ying’s special ability. As they drilled into She Qi’s body, it was equivalent to Teng Ying’s special ability entering She Qi’s body. It brought about a piercing pain that far surpassed the pain of being whipped.
She Qi felt like his heart was being pierced by thousands of arrows. The ants bit his body and burrowed into his flesh.
Seeing She Qi trembling like a sieve, another person standing beside Teng Ying stood up. He crossed his arms and looked at him coldly. “She Qi, you were once a member of the Xuan Sect. You should know how many methods our sect has to torture you. These ants are just a lesson for today. Enjoy it.”
She Qi’s body trembled in pain. His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at them and smiled sinisterly. “I’ll remember your faces. Don’t worry, when I get out, the first thing I’ll do is find your families and kill them all!”
Teng Ying’s expression changed. His face darkened as he released more ants.
“Ah—!” She Qi convulsed as he screamed.
However, after that one cry, She Qi gritted his teeth and bit back his screams. He didn’t make any sound even though blood was seeping out of his mouth.
“Teng Ying, let’s go. Let him stay here and enjoy the night!” Teng Ying’s companion said.
No matter how tough a person was, they would become much more obedient the next day after being bitten by ants for the entire night.
Teng Ying nodded and left the cell with his companion.
After the two of them left, She Qi finally opened his mouth and coughed out a mouthful of blood.
“Damn Xuan Sect, damn Quan Jue…” Just as She Qi finished speaking, he suddenly felt a familiar aura approaching. His gaze trembled slightly as he looked up.
A woman walked over stiffly, then finally fainted from exhaustion after Xia Luoqiao crawled out from her shadow.
