Chi Jiao looked at the poached egg in her bowl. While thinking that Brother Quan didn’t like to eat poached eggs, she shook her head and said, “He’s not a member of the Chi family. He’s my brother from my god grandfather’s side.”
Quan Jue nodded indifferently. “You guys seem close.”
Chi Jiao’s cheeks puffed up like a hamster as she ate. “It’s purely a sibling relationship.”
It was a simple sentence to explain things clearly to him.
“You don’t have to explain yourself to me.” Quan Jue looked away.
“Oh, okay.” Chi Jiao suppressed her laughter as she looked at his awkward reaction.

After eating, Quan Jue went to the attic to get something.
