Shen Xing really wanted to deny it!
It had already dealt with Ye Yichen earlier. Now it had to be the one who had diarrhea?
Why! Why did it have to be the one who had diarrhea?! So humiliating!
However, Chi Jiao’s gaze held a hidden warning, and the oppression made Shen Xing submit.
It was really embarrassed. It blushed and lowered its head, its voice as soft as a mosquito. “Yes…”
Lu Xian couldn’t help chuckling when she heard that. She reached out to touch Shen Xing’s little face and smiled. “I see. It’s alright. It’s just a small matter. You don’t have to be embarrassed.”
“Auntie, Shen Xing said he’s hungry. Why don’t we take a break and go to the cafe downstairs to have some cake?” Chi Jiao suggested with a smile.
“Shen Xing wants to eat cake? Shall I buy it for you? What flavor do you like?” Lu Xian liked Shen Xing very much and reached out to touch its little head.
Seeing how gentle Lu Xian was, Shen Xing really couldn’t say anything. It could only nod solemnly. “I want to eat chocolate cake.”
“Okay. Jiaojiao, let’s go.” Lu Xian pulled Shen Xing with one hand and Chi Jiao with the other. They chatted and laughed as they went downstairs to eat cake.
Chi Jiao was chatting with Lu Xian until the little heart’s hesitant voice sounded in her mind.
“Master, are you sure this woman is Quan Jue’s mother?” The little heart’s tone sounded a little grave.
Chi Jiao could tell that the little heart was trying to hint at something. She asked in confusion, “Yes, why do you ask?”
“I think she’s very strange. She looks so young, like someone in her early 20s. She doesn’t look like a mother at all. Master, do you know how she has managed to stay so young?” The little heart asked curiously.
“I’m not sure. Why do you keep asking about Auntie?” Chi Jiao knew the little heart. Apart from eating and drinking every day, it didn’t care much about anything else.
“Master, I’m just guessing. I think the Heart of Time might be with her,” the little heart said.
Chi Jiao stopped in her tracks after hearing this.
“Jiaojiao, what’s wrong?” Lu Xian looked at her in confusion, not knowing why she had suddenly stopped.
Chi Jiao smiled and tried her best not to appear too shaken. “I’m fine. Let’s continue walking.”
Chi Jiao pretended to be nonchalant as she continued to ask the little heart in her mind, “What do you mean?”
“The Heart of Time is the most powerful. The person who possesses it can freeze time and keep their body in a constant state. In other words, they won’t age,” the little heart explained. “I feel a familiar aura from her, but I can’t be sure.”
“I’m not very sure about Auntie’s age. I only know that Auntie was seriously injured 20 years ago. Everyone, including Brother Quan, thought that she was dead. Later on, Auntie suddenly appeared. From what I heard, it should be Ye Yichen who saved her,” Chi Jiao continued.
“The Heart of Time can freeze time and revive the dead. However, once a person is revived by the Heart of Time, they cannot be without it anymore,” the little heart said solemnly.
Hearing this, a bad feeling rose in Chi Jiao’s heart. She asked, “What will happen if Auntie loses the Heart of Time?”
