Chapter 1155 – Want To Eat Shark Meat Again
“I’ll take it home and wear it for Shield Bro to see!” Yushu’s words slammed onto Jianwen like a bucket of cold water.
“Wha??” Jianwen’s face changed instantly- for Lin Yi? Why was Yushu so obsessed with Lin Yi?? Jianwen was envious, but he had evil thoughts as well- he hoped that Yushu messed with him every day. It’ be best if she got some crabs to pinch him!
“Give me half. I want to do it too!” Xiaoxiao said strongly.
“Sure, I can’t wear them all anyway!” Yushu didn’t reject.
Jianwen was feeling a little down- these were swimsuits he spent a significant amount of money on buying, and now Lin Yi would be able to look at the things he was supposed to see! But this sort of money wasn’t much to him anymore. He waved his hand generously. “Alright, you guys take it- we’ll go down into the water then? Fish out some seafood, I’ll make you guys whatever you want to eat!”
Jianwen saw that crabs and other sea creatures had come out- he might even be able to fish a big fish yesterday, it would be different from yesterday night’s situation!
“You’ll fish whatever we want to eat?” Yushu narrowed her eyes at him.
Jianwen tensed up at that look- she wasn’t planning anything again, was she?
“Then it has to be something in the sea, right? I can’t fish anything not from there.” Jianwen said with a laugh as if he were joking.
“Yao Yao and I want to eat shark meat- you go fish it then!” Yushu said.
“Wha? Shark?!” Jianwen jumped- was one supposed to be fishing up sharks? Didn’t sharks eat people??
“Yeah, we want to eat shark meat!” Yushu nodded, “You’re an expert at beating up sharks, right? Punching out all its teeth with one hit? Or were you lying back then?”
“Wha!?” Jianwen remembered that he did make that boast back at dinner last time to show how brave he was, but all of that was fake! Yushu taking that stuff out right now made it very awkward for him!
If he said it was true, then he’d have to go get a shark, but if he said he was lying, then his image would drop in front of Yao Yao! He’d be branded a liar!
At the thought, Jianwen gritted his teeth and thought that the shallow waters might not have sharks- it wouldn’t be his fault if there weren’t any! “Fine, I’ll go get a shark with Taizao later! But, if there’s no shark in the shallow waters, there wouldn’t be much we could do! We don’t have equipment for deep waters!”
“It’s okay. I’ve got a great move for luring sharks!” Yushu smiled as she looked t Jianwen. “You cut your finger and drop some blood in the sea- sharks would come if you do that!”
“Wha??!” Jianwen jumped. “That isn’t good, is it…”
“Why not? Are you scared? Yao Yao doesn’t like guys who are cowards. She likes brave men!” Yushu said. “If you’re brave, you’d be able to win her favor- a knight has to face danger but remains calm! That’s what you should do! Yao Yao would cheer for you!”
“Really?” Jianwen felt his body fill up with adrenaline of a knight- he looked at Taizao. “Taizao put on your swimwear- we’re going fishing for sharks!”
“I… An Bro, with our bodies, catching a shark might be a bit…” Taizao said bitterly and carefully.
“No bullshit- let’s go!” Jianwen was worried that Mengyao might laugh at him. He pulled Taizao over to get changed.
“Shu, isn’t this a bit too dangerous? What if they get eaten by a shark for real?” Mengyao didn’t believe that the guy could fight sharks at all! She’d think that Lin Yi could do it, but Jianwen…
“It’s fine- I’m here!” Yushu said. “I brought down a shark with one rock last time!”
“Haha… Seriously…” Mengyao started laughing. “That was Gao Xaiofu, not a shark!”
“Hehe, you knew about it too, Yao Yao sis?” Yushu blushed- with her smarts, she knew after the fact that it wasn’t a shark that she beat down. She thought she was the only one who knew!
“There was even a price tag on the shark you ‘killed’- of course, I’d know.” Mengyao gave her a look before turning to Lin Yi, feeling that she was troubling him. “Lin Yi, can you watch out for him later and not let them get eaten?”
“Sure.” Lin Yi nodded, not saying anything else.
He understood what she was thinking- he was still her childhood friend. Even though he’d changed and become a bad person, they still had a past. Ahe didn’t want him to die in front of her.
“Yao Yao, why do you even care? Just let him die!” Yushu didn’t mind.
A while later, Jianwen and Taizao came out with their swimwear.
“Yao Yao, Shu, you guys don’t wanna play in the water?”Jianwen asked.
“Yao Yao, do we go?” Yushu asked.
Mengyao nodded and turned to Tang Yun and Xiaoxiao. “Let’s go together?”
“Okay!” Tang Yun nodded- this was the first time she came to the beach, and everything was so fresh. Songshan was a city near the mountains, and it took quite a while of driving before reaching the sea. There was one water park, but that place was on the mountain- the sea was below the cliff.
Her family wasn’t very rich, either, and with her dad, on the sick bed, they didn’t have time to go to the beach at all.
Mengyao and Yushu had purchased a lot of swimwear at the market, all the reserved type. They took it out for Tang Yun and Xiaoxiao.
“Yun Yun, Xiaoxiao, you guys choose first?” Mengyao offered.
