Wudi’s arrival at the north pole of the sun sent waves throughout the celestial orderian folk, but Tianming was far too occupied with his crucial realization. “Skywolf belongs to the Voidsky Organization, which was set up by the mysterians. They were also the ones that sent me the sword. Since I returned from Violetglory, I’ve only gone back to Flameyellow once. Back then, there was only the chaos worldring to collect, but the sword wasn’t there, which must mean it was delivered at a later date.
“Shouldn’t it have taken them much longer to arrive? Could they already have been as close as Skywolf when they came to deliver the sword? There’s no doubt the mysterians weren’t aware of the invasion conducted by Skywolf. Did they think it was just a normal occurrence, or are they intentionally observing from the shadows? What would they do if they learned that the sun has consumed both Skywolf stars? Would they send an astral fleet to deal with us?”
Tianming felt that it was incredibly likely that the mysterians already knew about everything. “The loss of two nova source worlds isn’t something the self-centered and prideful mysterians can stomach. If they really found out, their vengeance is almost certain! Not to mention, the other unique properties the sun had displayed throughout the war no doubt raised some eyebrows.”
Tianming furrowed his brows, relieved that he was still able to contemplate such a huge issue in time. “As a ruler, I have to be able to see the bigger picture. The slightest slip-up can result in disaster among the masses.” It was definitely the hardest path to tread in life.
“My appearance is quite well known, thanks to the Astraldome. Did the deliverer spot me? I wonder if they belong to the same group of people that were sent to Violetglory to pick me up? I should go back and ask if any mysterians have arrived.”
The grade-nine Grand-Orient Sword had been sent to the Flameyellow Continent by the mysterians at comma girl’s request. Coincidentally, the sun was being invaded by Skywolf. Such happenstances were far beyond Tianming’s control.
“Forget it. If they hadn’t sent me the sword, I wouldn’t have been able to defeat the sun emperor in the first place.” It was time to focus on potential solutions.
“Leave it… to me!” Yin Chen said, suddenly jumping out with pride in its eight-starred ladybug form. Each of them was about the size of a human fist and the eight spots on its backs glowed incredibly brightly. Yin Chen had always had initiative and loved to put itself out to perform. It was already eagerly waiting for Tianming’s instructions, sensing an opportunity for it to shine.
“That’s right! It’s your turn!” Tianming smiled. “Your eight-starred ladybug form should be able to fly through the astralscape, right? After that, you can even enter a semi-hibernation state for a long time after leaving a nova source world, right?”
Given how large the sun currently was, its nova source would be able to reach an area three times its diameter. Yin Chen’s new ladybug form could last at least a month within that zone, and even fly further. All it needed to do before the nova source in its bodies ran out was return to the vicinity of the flaming clouds to recharge, allowing it to serve the same function as the invisible cockroaches, but in space! While the ladybugs were much larger than the cockroaches, and even brightly shone, they were hard to spot from a distance away. In fact, their semi-hibernation state and suitability for long voyages in the cosmic aether made them even more suitable for space surveillance.
“Pay attention to any movements around the sun, whether they be people or divine astralships. Immediately notify me if you see anything, and make sure they don’t find out they’re being watched.”

“Piecey cakey!” the ladybug said as it crossed its many legs in front of its chest.
“Hey, stop joking around! If it wasn’t for me giving you the divine ores of the sun to consume, you wouldn’t have remade so many bodies that quickly!” After becoming a sovereign beast, Yin Chen could have a hundred million silver eggs at any one time, which could split into varying numbers of other bugs. One of them could easily turn into hundreds of invisible cockroaches, bringing their biggest possible number to the tens of billions. Some individual bodies were also about as large as Meow Meow’s cat form.
While it wasn’t much stronger than before its evolution, in terms of pure strength, having consumed enough divine ores and about half of the metallic materials that made up the Sanctquility Ghostrain and other divine astralships, the sheer increase in its numbers made it around ten times stronger than before. As long as it could remain stocked up on ores, it would be among the strongest beasts in Tianming’s arsenal, especially with how hard each silver egg was after having been enhanced with the power of more than four hundred billion believers. They could probably even pierce the hull of divine astralships.
“I’m the… Myriadworld Immortabeast!” it boasted.
“You think you look cool? You can’t even talk properly! Now go!” Tianming rolled his eyes. There were around fifty million bodies that followed Tianming around, and that considerably weighed down the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, resulting in higher fuel consumption.
He split the other fifty million into two groups, one of which he had turn into invisible cockroaches to spread around the sun to be his eyes. The other twenty-five million used to be backup, but he would have them sent to the astralscape above. They would be far more useful than outposts like the divine Moon Realm. Those twenty-five million pairs of eyes would surveil the entire area around the sun! Given Yin Chen’s acute eyesight and the tendency for objects that travel through the astralscape to be substantial in size, it would be hard to miss anything.
“While it might not be able to detect the movements of individual people, divine astralships definitely won’t be able to stay hidden from it.” Yin Chen’s new form was a much-needed panacea for Tianming’s upcoming malady.
“Fifth Bro, I hereby grant you the title of Eyes of the Sun!” Ying Huo said.
“Chicken Bro… well said… well said…” Yin Chen replied, making a gesture of a salute with its tiny insect legs.
“Alright, stop messing around and get to work. Report anything you see to me. If you mess up, I’ll cut your food allowance! Forget metals, you’d be eating mud!” Tianming said.
“Useless piece… of shit!” Yin Chen snapped.
“Little Li, you won’t cut my food allowance, right?” Xian Xian said, feigning tears of woe.
“Of course not. Xian Xian’s so cute, who could possibly do that?” Tianming said in a gentle tone.
“What the?! That’s gender discrimination! My brothers, let’s work together to revolt against Li Tianming!” Ying Huo beckoned.
“That’s right! Let Ying Huo be the beastmaster!” Lan Huang roared.
“Sheesh, you stinking males are always like this,” Xian Xian said, eyes rolling. “I hope Sixth is a maiden like me. The two of us would be more than enough against you four!”
Meow Meow, on the other hand, was yawning and couldn’t care less. In its dreams, it thought, as long as I can sleep, losing my balls and turning into a she-cat isn’t the worst thing that can happen….
……
With Wudi helping out, the celestial orderians’ wary attitude was curbed. Tianming eventually went down and revealed his dynastic plans to them as Wudi’s godson and the ruler of the sun. Given the many losses they had suffered, they all accepted and submitted to Tianming under the sun empress’ guidance. The sun was finally united once more.
