Celestial College was really famous in Heaven Sky and it was undoubtedly the top out of all the colleges.
The dean was a famous intellectual. He had taken charge of Celestial College for tens of thousands of years and it was still under his charge up until now.
Celestial College was situated on a wide stretch of secluded land. It was a huge, ancient college that took up a large area.
In the center was a building. At the top was a copper bell and beneath it sat a woman cross-legged.
Her hair danced in the wind and each strand was translucent. The girl was really beautiful but it was different from the softness of others. She had an aura that made one impressed and attracted them the moment they looked at her.
Noble!
She just sat there cross-legged and still seemed really arrogant. This was Ah Qing, a strong and beautiful woman.
“When one becomes old, one loves to talk about the past. I am no exception.” An old man stood outside and looked at Lady Ah Qing.
Lady Ah Qing just looked at him and didn’t say a word.
“I was the same as you when I was young. I was arrogant and as one of the founding ancestors of the college, I felt like I could compete with the Celestials above.”
“So, I founded Celestial College and the five of us gave it that name. We wanted to develop new Celestials because we all failed to ascend.”
“Since the Celestial Gate closed down, it was so tough to reach the Celestial World. We all failed. In fact, we didn’t fail just once; we failed until we lost all our confidence.”
“Third Brother always said: The moment one has no more confidence, one has nothing at all. Who knew when things started that I would actually decide to step on this path of cultivating random things which I had looked down upon in the past.”
“I just feel like not being able to see what Celestial World looked like made me feel really regretful.”
“100 years ago, second brother left and before he died, he pulled my hand. His words weren’t clear but he kept on muttering, heart energy, heart energy, heart energy.”
“I didn’t understand, was it so important?”
“I lost it and chose to cultivate random stuff and managed to survive. But none of the four of them did. They rather died than give up on their path. When the lightning hacked down, their heart energy was shattered, so why didn’t they give up on it?”
“I have been thinking over these years, what was the point? I lost it but I was still alive and I could live for a long time. I can also continue to work towards heading to Celestial World, so why didn’t they choose to restart?”
The dean’s questions reverberated in the building.
Ah Qing listened on but didn’t interrupt. After the dean finished, she said, “So, time will really change a person. There really will be people who would turn into the evil dragon after killing the evil dragon.”
“You really turned into what you hated the most.” Ah Qing sighed.
The old man smiled and was really bitter, “I have never tasted the feeling of the top but I know about the feeling of falling to the abyss. I looked at the four brothers of mine dying one by one. They were all so confident in the past and they looked down on the heavens. But now they died one by one in front of me.”
“Have you personally sent a loved one of yours off?”
“The five of us were like brothers. I sent them off one by one. I’ve already forgotten what second brother meant by heart energy?”
“It is something you have when you’re confident and it is something that I don’t agree with. It is also something that you hate the most.” Ah Qing said calmly.
The dean looked at her, “I have to admit, I see the heart energy that second brother mentioned in you. You are right; I hate it now.”
“So, you should agree with that Celestial who came down into the mortal world. Let me sacrifice myself and open the Celestial and Mortal pathway to send more Celestials down and imprison the Nine Skies and Ten Lands?” Ah Qing asked.
“How is it called imprisoning and enslaving for the weak to listen to the strong?” The dean asked.
“Like you said, the weak should listen to the strong. That Celestial restarted his cultivation and he will be able to ascend soon. Why didn’t he try and why does he want me to open that path up?” Ah Qing asked.
“That is because you are much weaker than me.” A stage nine young man walked in. He was really handsome but his aura was ice-cold. He didn’t like to smile and he was as solemn as an old man.
“Let me out and I will beat you up so badly that your mother won’t be able to recognize you. A reincarnated Celestial? You are just trash.” Ah Qing looked at him and said calmly.
“I know that you are strong and that you are a genius. Even the dean said that you were the strongest disciple to date. You cultivated for 3,000 years and I cultivated for only 30, so it is expected that I can’t beat you.” This young man was a reincarnated Celestial. He found the talent of his spirit and was the most talented disciple in this generation of the Celestial College.
Chang Qing!
Chang Qing and the dean each took one side, one persuaded and one threatened so as to make Ah Qing agree to ascend.
This was also because Ah Qing was too strong and if they really fought, Celestial College would definitely be destroyed.
The dean definitely wouldn’t agree to that.
He had lost his heart energy. The intellectual him knew that once the college was gone, his hard work over the years would all be for nothing.
So, he suppressed Ah Qing and that bell above her head was a really strong Celestial Artifact.
That bell seemed like it wasn’t doing anything but all of its celestial seals were activated to suppress her in the building.
She wasn’t able to leave it. She couldn’t move her body either. She could only move her mouth.
“Even if you try to hold on, you have to think for your disciple. I brought him back.” The dean said.
Ah Qing didn’t rage as imagined, but she just burst out laughing, “When did the top intellectual, the dean that has lived for so many years, actually end up using such despicable methods?”
“Aren’t you worried about your disciple at all?” The dean’s expression became ugly. Ah Qing’s insults made him really embarrassed.
“I prepared a way out for him, as for you, are you still so stupid?” Ah Qing looked at him in disdain…
“Right now, you love your image. You don’t care about anything else. It seems like your judgment has been clouded by the Celestial World and you can’t use your brain anymore. I really feel sad for you. 3,000 years ago, you could think for yourself. You judged and criticized the world and talked about your dreams. Time is like a river that splashes onto one’s body. We are like stone; some have our horns removed while some continue to stay strong.”
“Your four brothers all stand strong while you aren’t even worthy of recognition.” Ah Qing grinned. Her blunt words hurt the dean’s heart.
