Vision was one of the five senses. Apart from the enhancement of the five senses, the other major progress was in his strength.
Su Ping could feel an upsurge of strength. At the first level of the Solar Bulwark, his physical strength could be compared to the titled rank. Since he had already used the elementary level Strength Enhancement which doubled his strength, his physical strength at the moment should be approaching the peak of the titled rank…
He had to run a test to find out the specifics.
It just so happened that someone would make a perfect sparring partner for him.
Su Ping shook his head at Tang Ruyan who had just moved her bowl and then went to the test room.
The three elders of the Tang Family were in the test room. They could not open the door to leave without his permission.
The three of them were whispering something when Su Ping went in. The three of them stopped talking the second the door opened.
Su Ping darted a glance at them. He didn’t even bother to ask what they had been chatting about. “Which one of you is the best with the Glass Bulwark?” he asked.
The three of them looked at each other in confusion. Tang Mingqing worked up the courage and posed his question, “Mr. Su, what are you…?” “Don’t ask. Just tell me the answer.”
“That would be me… I think.”
“Is that so? Come on in and try it with me.”
Su Ping walked over to the center of the room and waved at Tang Mingqing.
Tang Mingqing thought that Su Ping was going to him to ask for the skill’s methodology. It never occurred to him that Su Ping would want to exchange experience. Tang Mingqing had made a plan, since the skill was exclusive to the Tang Family. He decided that if Su Ping was trying to learn the skill, he would use some underhand ways to bury some traps in the skill so that Su Ping would make mistakes when he learned it. There was a critical point in the method that could cause some serious injuries and even lead to fatal dangers if Su Ping were to learn it in the right way, not to mention when some traps were set up.
Tang Mingqing believed he could claim that Su Ping was the one to be blamed for any accidents, and the method itself was not at fault.
“Hurry up. What are you doing there?” Su Ping said grumpily.
Tang Mingqing came back to his senses. He hurried to Su Ping.
Tang Mingqing looked around and said, “Here? Will it…?”
That was a practice round, not a real battle. Even so, both of them had titled rank strength. They could break down the room. Since the three of them had been staying in the room for a while already, they had sensed there was something strange about the room which appeared to be under the protection of a special seal. They didn’t try to find out the strength of the seal, though, worried that they would break down the walls directly. That would be embarrassing. “Your mission is simple. Use your Glass Bulwark and let me punch you.”
Su Ping was not in the mood to do any more explanation.
Tang Mingqing just eyed Su Ping with confusion. So, he was a punchbag for Su Ping?
“Okay.”
Tang Mingqing agreed. Punch back it is. He was eager to find out the actual strength of the young man.
Phew!
As a surge of astral powers rippled the air, Tang Mingqing’s stooped body suddenly straightened up in a cracking sound. The old man with greyish hair appeared to be dozens of years younger; the wrinkles on his face were softened and his skinny body became strong.
There was a faint, green hue around him and every pore in his body was lightning up in green.
Su Ping squinted his eyes. Tang Mingqing’s Glass Bulwark was much more powerful than the one he had seen on Tang Ruyan.
“Are you ready?”
“No problem.”
“Good.”
Su Ping nodded and took a deep breath.
A burning sensation gradually began to surge inside his chest; a strong power was gathered on his arm.
Veins popped out.
His arm grew in size and the skin had turned rosy. A glint of violence rose in Su Ping’s eyes which had turned a bit maroon. “What?”
Tang Mingqing felt pressured all of a sudden.
The other two elders standing by the edge of the room also noticed something was unusual. They stood up and gazed at Su Ping, surprised and bewildered.
“Ready…” said Su Ping in a low voice.
Tang Mingqing felt how his hair was standing on its roots. Astral powers burst out of him. He exerted his full strength; two spinning hexagon shields suddenly appeared in front of him.
Roar!!
Su Ping kept the bellow to himself as he punched out!
Bang!!
With a sudden bursting noise, the air rippled and the effect was dispersed. Su Ping’s fist broke free from the hindrance in the air and moved toward Tang Mingqing even faster.
The two astral shields broke apart and even the cracking sound was muffled by the sonic bang. With a boom, Tang Mingqing was smashed backward with terror still visible in his eyes. He smashed into the wall dozens of meters away. He spat out some blood as he slipped off from the wall like a piece of paper. The two elders were struck dumb with astonishment. They hurried over and helped Tang Mingqing up. There was a deep dent on Tang Mingqing’s chest. The green glow was profound, but it was faint inside the dent. It was as if the punch would have dimmed down the light.
Feeling the tearing pain, Tang Mingqing could not help but spit out more blood.
Su Ping was surprised to see that his strength had been elevated by quite a large margin. He didn’t use the Fist of Exorcist. Rather, he had merely employed his physical strength. If he would have used the Fist of Exorcist, the effect would have been much greater. He would have killed Tang Mingqing with one punch!
With the Glass Bulwark, Tang Mingqing’s physical strength could compare to a beast at the peak of the ninth-rank. That was to say, when Su Ping used the Fist of Exorcist, he could punch a beast at the peak of the ninth-rank to death! Coupled with the astral power enhancement, Su Ping believed the upper limit of his punch was approaching the legendary rank!
Of course, it would be the entry-level of the legendary rank. Su Ping had once heard from Joanna that the legendary rank covered a vast range. Some of the senior legendary rank battle pet warriors could easily kill those who had just reached the legendary rank.
This is the true power of the Solar Bulwark. The first level has equipped me with such strength…
Su Ping was looking forward to finding out what kind of strength the second level would bring to him.
But before that, he had to work hard to increase his rank.
At the moment, he was at the intermediate position of the sixth rank and his astral powers are too weak.
With the help of the Star Prism, he could temporarily increase his astral powers to the titled rank but the effect was temporary. He believed that if he were at the titled rank, his strength would be one to two times stronger. By then, he could even kill beasts of the stone family and at the peak of the ninth-rank!
Su Ping put down his hand and asked Tang Mingqing, who was making his way back as he walked over from the distance at the help of the other two Tang Family elders, “Are you okay?”
Tang Mingqing produced a forced smile. The blood had yet to dry at the corner of my mouth. You tell me if I’m okay! “Yes, yes. I’m fine.”
Tang Mingqing smiled obsequiously. He could only keep the complaint to himself instead of saying it out loud. “Good.”
Su Ping nodded. He left the test room at once without showing any concern for Tang Mingqing.
Finally, Su Ping is gone. The three Tang Family elders looked at each other, angry, and at the same time, afraid.
As he stepped out of the test room, Su Ping suddenly felt a burning sensation between his eyebrows. Some information popped into his mind. To his surprise, more dragon scale lands in the Mysterious Realm were being removed from their seals.
The number of “explored lands” that were revealed to the public was not correct. In fact, merely over a dozen lands were left unexplored. Su Ping noticed that more and more were being opened up. The entire Mysterious Realm would be opened up soon.
“Two more lands…”
Su Ping blinked. In the remaining two dragon scale lands, there were no beast kings, just beasts at the peak of the titled rank.
The dragon scales lands that merely had the four beast kings guarding had all been explored. Two of them had been opened up before and the other two opened up only recently.
That was to say, some legendary battle pet warrior had been involved.
Or, several battle pet warriors at the peak of the titled rank had joined hands and used some special top-level treasures. Those were the only ways for the beast kings to be taken care of.
Su Ping remembered the old legendary battle pet warrior he had in his store.
Venerable the Blade and Lin Ziqing arrived with that old man.
Venerable the Blade had just left his store not long before, so he could’not have helped. That was to say, the old man had gotten involved in person.
“That old guy must know something about that legend. I believe the last two dragon scale lands will be opened up at the same time!”
Su Ping blinked. Up until then, he had not sensed anyone climbing the dragon bone tower. Since the old man was aware of the secrets of the Mysterious Realm, it was likely that he would arrange for that person to go and climb the dragon bone tower first, before all the lands opened up. Otherwise, he would be practically doing Su Ping a favor.
While Su Ping was thinking, he sensed something in his mind.
Speaking of the devil.
Someone stepped into the dragon bone tower!
