Hearing Sang Biao’s threats, Zhao Yao laughed mockingly and said as he stared at Sang Biao in the eyes, “Hehe, d*mn cat, you’re really quite crazy.”
“So many of you up against just one of me, it’s not a fair battle!” Sang Biao scoffed in return. “Laugh as hard as you want now, human. There’s not much time left for you to laugh anyway.”
10 minutes later…
“Release me now!” Sang Biao, who was reduced to a thumb-sized Maine Coon wailed, “You’re inhuman! You’re a devil!!”
In front of Sang Biao, Roly Poly stood up and trembled a little before walking out with satisfaction, leaving an enraged and ashamed Sang Biao behind.
Just as Roly Poly was about leave the toilet, he saw Ares waiting in line behind him. The two cats exchanged glances and smirked at the same time.
Roly Poly said, “Ares, you’re here as well.”
“Yeah, how was it, Roly Poly? Is this guy good?” Ares chuckled as he asked.
“One word: amazing.” Roly Poly ginned with satisfaction. He patted Ares’ shoulder and said, “Enjoy buddy. I’ll make a move first.”
Ares walked up excitedly and saw Sang Biao trapped in the cat toilet under the Deflective Field. He walked up and squatted slightly. Swishing sounds were heard as he peed in the cat litter.
After peeing, Ares’ body shook a little before he walked over to Sang Biao’s side. He found a clean spot on Sang Biao’s body before picking up the thumb-sized Maine Coon and using him to wipe his butt.
The smell of pee assaulted Sang Biao’s nose as he felt his body being rubbed against the other party’s ass. Sang Biao was so angry that all the fur on his body burst out in rage.
Ares was surprised and delighted. “You’re even better to use with your flared fur!!”
“You guys! All you… idiots! Dirty! Shameless and immoral things!” Sang Biao felt as if he was going to explode from anger when he suddenly heard voices rushing in from outside the toilet, “Ares, are you done?!”
“Quickly!”
“So many cats are waiting!”
Ares shouted back, “Okay okay, I’m done.” When he came out he saw Yellow Mud enter immediately.
Sang Biao looked at the long, snaking queue outside the cat toilet and suddenly felt as if his world had turned into a dark abyss. He broke down and screamed, “Human! What exactly do you want?”
Zhao Yao, who was standing beside the toilet, smiled condescendingly. “Foolish cat, you still insist on being crazy?”
Sang Biao opened his mouth and was about to continue lashing out when he saw Yellow Mud coming into the cubicle. His expression immediately turned sorrowful as he said pitifully, “You can’t do this to me.”
Zhao Yao scoffed as he replied, “Think about the mess you made. Just the ground floor, wallpaper, ceiling, and all other kinds of furniture and decorations alone would cost me more than 100 000 dollars to refurbish and renovate the entire place. Not to mention how you scared off hundreds of my customers. When the word goes out, it will affect thousands more customers. Consequently, this amounts to approximately one to two hundred millions in losses…”
As Sang Biao listened, he felt his brain slowly spiralling into despair as numerous zeros appeared in his mind as if he was scrolling down a screen of zeros. However, he still understood the core of the whole ramble. Basically, his destructive power was too strong. It caused widespread destruction, and massive losses.
He could not help but smile as he thought, “My powers are truly magnificent!”
Zhao Yao continued, “… Given such massive losses, you should naturally be the one to pay the price. Starting from today onwards, you will be used as the toilet paper here. I will pay you 10 dollars a day. Once you’ve paid off one billion, I will let you go.”
“Hold up. One billion?” Sang Biao felt like his brain was slowing down as he could not calculate properly.
Zhao Yao continued, “Of course. You think calculating the cost of damages alone would suffice? My crew of service cats has been profoundly startled by your actions. Shouldn’t you compensate for their emotional damages?”
They won’t be able to work for the next few days. Shouldn’t you compensate for their pay? Even if you don’t count their pay, they need money for food. Don’t you need to be fed too? Some of the service cats weren’t in a good mental state to begin with and fell into depression because of your actions that creates medical costs as well… After adding all these miscellaneous costs together, is the total amount any less?”
Sang Biao was hesitant. “Really?”
“Obviously, you’re an uneducated cat that didn’t even go to elementary school. I’m a university graduate. I’ve studied so much in my life. I wouldn’t lie to you,” Zhao Yao continued. “You can either work as toilet paper and earn 10 dollars a day here or choose a different punishment. I can soak you in a shit pit as well. Just one year of that will be enough for my anger to subside and let you go.”
“But…” Sang Biao started calculating in his mind. “A total of one billion. If I earn 10 dollars a day, I will earn 100 dollars in 10 days, 1000 dollars in 100 days…”
He bellowed in rage, “So, how long do I have to be toilet paper for exactly?”
Zhao Yao said casually, “Not too long actually. Maybe a few hundred thousand years. You don’t want to be toilet paper? Then you can soak in the shit pit. One year will do.”
Sang Biao was silent for a moment. He looked at another approaching supercat and started struggling madly again, “No!!! I don’t want to be toilet paper for hundreds of thousands of years! I don’t want to soak in the shit pit for a year either! Is there any other way?”
“There are other ways too,” Zhao Yao replied. “But seeing your arrogance, if I let you do other jobs, you might not be willing to do them.”
Sang Biao broke down in despair as he cried, “I am willing, very willing. I admit defeat! Don’t let me be toilet paper anymore!”
Zhao Yao gestured with his finger to sheriff at the side, signalling at him to unleash his psychic powers and read Sang Biao’s mind. He continued asking Sang Biao, “You admit defeat? So tell me, why did come to my Cat Wonderland to make a scene? Who sent you here? Did anyone tell you to?”
At the side, the sheriff watched Zhao Yao’s actions and thought to himself, “This devil…”
Hearing his words, Sang Biao thought for a while before replying, “No one instructed me. I came here on my own to seize the cats here.”
“No one?” Zhao Yao glanced at the sheriff, who shook his head.
Sang Biao paused, “Not exactly, there was someone who sent me to catch cats but he didn’t specify the location…”
Zhao Yao’s eyes flashed and immediately asked, “Who is it?”
Sang Biao shivered and curled up his body. He shook his head with determination as he replied, “I can’t say. I’m not supposed to.”
Seeing Sang Biao’s reaction, Zhao Yao turned towards the sheriff and asked telepathically, “How is it?”
The sheriff did not reply as he was immersed in Sang Biao’s thoughts. He could see in Sang Biao’s memories a bizarre cat that was radiating limitless rays of light from his body. That cat was soaring freely in the sky, spreading hope and dreams of a future for various cats, just like a guardian angel of cats.
This was apparently the image of Project X in Sang Biao’s heart.
The sheriff frowned as he thought, “There’s such a cat?” Suddenly, he felt a huge hand pressing down on his head. He turned and saw that Zhao Yao was touching him.
“Sheriff, can you see who’s the one instructing him?”
The sheriff looked again at Zhao Yao’s heart. He was surrounded by black smoke and had horns on his head, emanating an evil aura. He sighed in despair, “In reality, the devil is still more powerful. I can only be a cat spy.”
Hence, the sheriff quickly described to Zhao Yao what he saw in Sang Biao’s mind.
