“Mei Mei, do you think what she said is reliable?” Xia He walked into the house and asked Qiao Mei worriedly.
Qiao Mei smiled indifferently and said, “It doesn’t matter if it’s real or fake. Elder sister, don’t think about it anymore. Let’s eat. Why hasn’t Second Aunt-in-law come out of the kitchen after so long?”
Since Qian’e arrived, Liu Fen had been very quiet in the kitchen. There were only the three of them having dinner at home, so there was no need for her to prepare too much food. They wondered why she had not come out yet.

“Come, Second Aunt-in-law. Let’s eat. She has already left.” Xia He helped Liu Fen up and led her to the living room to take a rest. Her shoulders must be so sore after sleeping in the kitchen for so long.
The three of them quickly finished their meal and cleaned up before returning to their rooms to rest.
The next morning, Xia He woke up very early. She did not sleep well the entire night and felt flustered whenever she thought about what Qian’e had said. However, Qiao Mei was as calm and composed as if nothing had happened.
