901 Leaving the Factory
Qiao Yu walked back to the dormitory in a daze. She did not know what she had done to offend the Xia family. Why did the Xia family want to chase her away?

The women in the dormitory still did not dare to speak too harshly. After all, Qiao Yu and her relatives were still related by blood. The moment this issue blew over, Qiao Yu might still be of help to them.
“Maybe they have arranged a better job for Qiao Yu!” said the older woman from the upper bunk.
Qiao Yu smiled and did not say anything. Others might not know what was going on, but she knew very well that this matter was definitely related to Qiao Mei.
Before Qiao Yu could think further, the dormitory manager brought a middle-aged woman to their room. The manager’s attitude had undergone a 180-degree change. Back then, when she found out that Qiao Yu was recommended by the factory director, she had respectfully brought Qiao Yu around to view all the rooms until Qiao Yu found a bed she was satisfied with.
“You, move out quickly. This spot will be hers from now on,” the manager said as she pointed at the middle-aged woman beside her.
“What? You want me to leave now! It’s already dark. Can I leave tomorrow morning?” Qiao Yu pleaded.
The manager said firmly, “No, this is an instruction from the higher-ups. You have to move out immediately. We don’t have any spare space here. Where can she stay if you don’t leave?”
Seeing that there was no room for negotiation at all, Qiao Yu reluctantly started to pack her things. She did not have many things and could fit them all in a cloth bag. The bedsheet and blanket were all provided by the factory and the bedding belonged to the dormitory. All these things did not belong to her. After packing up, Qiao Yu left in a sorry state.
None of the women in the dormitory sent Qiao Yu off. As soon as Qiao Yu left, laughter could be heard coming from the dormitory, especially from the older woman in the lower bunk. She was overjoyed that no one would borrow clothes from her anymore.

That place was very far from here and she would only be able to reach that location late at night if she took the bus. Instead of going to such a far place, she might as well go to his house!
