When Feng Jiu arrived home, she saw MinFeng sitting on the sofa, waiting for her.
She walked towards him and sat beside him. She asked, "Have you eaten something already?"
"Mmm." He went closer and hugged her while watching TV.
"Did you go out today?" She asked while hugging him back.
"Me? No. I'm just here since morning. I never went outside. Why?"
"Nothing."
Feng Jiu does not know when to start or what to say.
MinFeng, noticing Feng Jiu's abnormal actions suddenly felt nervous. In order to hide his uneasiness, he grabbed Feng Jiu and let her sit on his lap.
"Is something wrong?" He held her closer and touched her cheeks.
"Do you have something that you're not telling me?" Feng Jiu asked while looking at MinFeng's eyes.
'MinFeng, I'll give you a chance to clarify everything. Please, don't lie.'
MinFeng froze. Then he smiled and kissed her lips. "No. I am not hiding anything from you. Why?"
"N-Nothing. Let's go to sleep."
Feng Jiu let MinFeng carry her towards their bedroom. She was still uneasy, but she trusted MinFeng. Whatever MinFeng say, she would believe him.

When MinFeng saw Feng Jiu arrived. He was sitting on the sofa while looking at her.

"Mmm." He hugged her. Trying to find comfort from her body temperature.
When Feng Jiu asked if she had gone outside while hugging him back, MinFeng wanted to confess everything… but he knew, he couldn't. Thus, he lied. "Me? No. I'm just here since morning. I never went outside. Why?"
'Did she really saw me? Was she able to clearly see my face?' MinFeng was eaten with guilt. He did not want to lie but he did not have any options.
"Nothing." Feng Jiu only smiled. MinFeng saw that Feng Jiu wanted to say something to him. He knew she wanted to ask if he was the man she saw at the hotel a while ago. MinFeng pretended that he was oblivious. He suddenly feels nervous. In order to hide his uneasiness, he grabbed Feng Jiu and let her sit on his lap.
"Is something wrong?"
He held her closer and touched her cheeks.
"Do you have something that you're not telling me?" Feng Jiu asked while looking at his eyes.
MinFeng froze. He wanted to say something, to admit everything, but in the end, fear made him unable to say those words. All he could do was smile to hide his uneasiness and fear.
Then, MinFeng lowered his head and kissed Feng Jiu's lips, wanting to get some strength from her.
"No. I am not hiding anything from you. Why?" MinFeng swallowed all the words he wanted to say and decided to act innocent.
"N-Nothing. Let's go to sleep." Feng Jiu allowed him to carry her towards their bedroom. MinFeng knew she trusted him. She trusted him with her life, and he betrayed her by lying to her. Even it was just a white lie, it wouldn't change the fact that he lied to her, but he could no longer tell her the truth without hurting her feelings.
'Feng Jiu, please forgive me. I really never wanted to lie to you… but I cannot lose you like this. I just can't.'

It had been a day since the incident in the HuaRong Hotel. Feng Jiu felt like there was nothing wrong with MinFeng. Thinking that she might have been hallucinating that time, Feng Jiu decided not to dwell on it and move on. Besides, she would know everything when the result of the 'investigation' arrived. For now, she will believe in MinFeng. Because she knew, MinFeng wouldn't lie to her. MinFeng wouldn't hurt her.
It was Sunday today and both of them decided to clean the house together.
Although she and MinFeng were both cleaning the house alternately, and sometimes her grandfather would also send someone to clean once in a while, she still wanted for both of them to clean the house every now and then.
She never envisioned herself cleaning the house together with someone like they were a husband and wife. Feng Jiu, thinking about MinFeng, suddenly felt like her heart would burst due to happiness.
She never knew that living with someone would make you happy. She should've done that few years ago. For once, she was glad she made that stupid decision back then.
She was currently standing tiptoed, trying to clean the cupboard. Her left hand was currently supporting her and was pressed on the sink while the other one was trying to reach the stuffs inside the cupboard. When she almost reached the cup on the cupboard, someone suddenly smelled her armpit.
She was startled and hurriedly took a step back, because of imbalance, she almost fell on the ground. Luckily, an arm suddenly encircled her waist and grabbed her upward. It was MinFeng. Their eyes meet.

Nooo~ *sobs* luckily, it was the 4th chapter and not the 2nd or the 3rd one. I won't be forced to write it again today.
But my effort ohh.. The struggle is real. So I have no choice but to write it again tomorrow morning.
So instead of having 4 chapters today, I can only give you 3 chapters. Boo hoo~
