Xie Limo looked at the two children and felt immensely pleased. He kissed Yun Bixue’s ear and said warmly, “Xue, thank you.”
Yun Bixue smiled. “What did I do?”
“Thank you for giving me a home. Thank you for allowing me to be a father.”
As she listened to Xie Limo’s words, she giggled. “You sound so funny, but I understand what you’re feeling.”
Xie Limo hugged Yun Bixue and gently rubbed his head against hers. “I know you understand me best.”
Xie Limo’s breath tickled the side of Yun Bixue’s neck, making her shiver from the sensation. She hurriedly pushed him away and said, “The children are still sleeping. Let’s not wake them up.”
Yun Bixue felt tremendously happy simply just by looking at the two of them, her gaze filled with warmth.
Although she was extremely tired, she still wanted to take another look at her children. She didn’t mind staying up the entire night just to look.
Yun Bixue seemed to have suddenly thought of something, and she asked, “We have a son and a daughter now. The girl will be called Xie Nianzhen, but what will be the boy’s name?”
Xie Limo was stumped by her question. Indeed, he had yet to think of a name for his son.
Looking at Xie Limo’s expression, Yun Bixue pouted in displeasure. “Hurry up and think of something. You can just come up with something on the spot.”
Xie Limo looked at the boy and answered, “He shall be called Xie Lingye.”
Yun Bixue thought about it and nodded in agreement. Holding her son’s tiny hands, she kissed it and cooed softly, “My son, your father loves you dearly. He has named you Xie Lingye. He hopes you can be like the sun, shining ever so brightly in the sky. He is full of hopes for your future!”
After speaking, Yun Bixue felt even happier. Joy was written clearly all over her face.
Right after letting go of her son’s hands, he woke up. He stared at Yun Bixue with his big eyes but didn’t cry or make a fuss. He merely moved his limbs.
Yun Bixue didn’t understand what was going on. Blinking at Xie Limo, she asked, “What is he trying to tell us? Why isn’t he crying?”
Xie Limo looked at how dazed Yun Bixue looked and smiled lovingly before picking up his son.
Patting his back gently, he swayed from side to side. “My son, be good and go to sleep!”
Yun Bixue looked at how gentle Xie Limo was as he carried their child, and her eyes were glistening.
So this was how Xie Limo looked when he carries a child… He still looked so alluring and intoxicating.
Yun Bixue felt that she was just losing her mind over how gorgeous her husband was.
As Xie Limo carried him, their son moved about in his hands and began to pull his clothes. Despite not having any teeth yet, the child tried to bite at his chest area.
Realizing that his son was hungry, Xie Limo chuckled.
He looked at Yun Bixue, who still looked lost and puzzled. Clearing his throat, he said, “He might be hungry.”
Although it was Yun Bixue’s first time being a mother, she knew what to do. Carrying the child in her arms, she prepared to unbutton her shirt to breastfeed her child.
But before she could do so, the baby began to flail his arms and eventually started to cry.
Yun Bixue was stunned. Not knowing what to do, she looked at Xie Limo. “What do I do? He’s crying. Is he not hungry?”
Looking at the pitiful and helpless look in Yun Bixue’s eyes, Xie Limo rubbed his brows and said, “Let me carry him!”
Xie Limo held him in his arms and made a bottle of milk to feed the child.
Surprisingly, the baby really started drinking.
Yun Bixue blinked in surprise as she watched. She exclaimed, “He’s such an intelligent baby!”
