Chapter 369 – Imposing
Destroying the Six Paths of Reincarnation, killing away the gods and sacrificing all of the lives in a whole galaxy just so he could lay down a curse, and even breaking the cursed seals away would bring the cultivator’s soul to him. Just exactly what kind of level is this existence at?
Zhong Yue had gotten a massive headache as he thought about it, the experience he had in the complete darkness was crushing his will, if it continued for any longer, then he would definitely go mad or even die!
An everlasting darkness, and the purgatory of death and revival … perhaps not even the gods could last long in his place.
Senior Martial brother Feng must have gone through the same experience; his will must be unimaginably strong … for him to hold his urge to commit even in madness.
Zhong Yue mumbled, I’ve managed to escape thanks to Xin Huo, but how exactly did he do it?
He was puzzled, but Feng Xiaozhong’s talent was way beyond his reach, and most probably, Feng Xiaozhong had found some ways to escape that he wouldn’t think of.
No matter who this was, he must be dragged out into the lights. Even if he is dead, I will dig his corpse out of his tomb!
Zhong Yue still felt unsettled, the image of him being eaten away by the darkness bit by bit, time after time, and the pain he felt were still branded in his mind.
His face was pallid, and he tried not to think about it anymore, he shifted his focus away to check on the condition of his mortal body and Yuan Shen.
The sixth secret realm was completed, and the Bloodline Secret Realm was formed and linked the Yuan Shen together with the mortal body. As such, his arcane energy had substantially increased by no less than over twenty percent.
However, the vast increase in his arcane energy was nothing when compared to the other changes!
Most importantly, the Six Paths Reincarnation; Dao Yi, Yin Yang, Shen Cai, Wan Xiang, Wu Xing and Bloodline, all six wheels were formed and came together as a Six Paths Reincarnation system. His overall strength didn’t only improve by twenty percent, but there was more to it!
His mortal body was enhanced, and with the blood essences coalescing together, his mortal body had grown by an even greater extent.
He could feel the Fuxi bloodline in him increasing in purity and becoming evermore abundance. Nearly twenty-some percent of the Fuxi bloodline within him had already been awakened!
They were mending his heart, giving it a slight auric luster as it boosted its strength by multiple folds!
Eventually, an ordinary human heart had evolved into the Fuxi Divine Heart!
Various Fuxi Celestial Race’s totem patterns emerged naturally on his Fuxi divine heart. These were the natural totem patterns that came along with the birth of the Fuxi, patterned in the image of the human-headed snake-bodied celestial. It was depicted slithering in the heart’s chamber, and the Fuxi blood was pumped to every corner of his body, granting him immense power!
Moreover, as the Fuxi blood flowed through his body, it would refine his bodily structure bit by bit. In addition to the【Sun Moon Prodigious Emanation Art】, his mortal body was seeing a significant amount of improvement!
Furthermore, Zhong Yue could even see the lost lifespan slowly coming back. It was truly a spectacular scene as the blood essence slowly filled in to replace the lost years.
Other than the divine heart, the bones on the right side of his body carried a faint golden luster, fainter than the divine heart.
It would be that the Fuxi bloodline in him had not fully awakened, and the power of the Fuxi Celestial Race that he currently commanded was yet to be sufficient to evolve his bones into Fuxi divine bones entirely.
After some time, his heart had turned completely golden in color, and it thumped with a newfound vibrancy. However, only the phalanges of his right thumb had turned completely golden; the rest of his body bones were still only a faint gold.
Only about twenty percent of the bloodline is awakened, it means that I have yet to fully break the bloodline seals in the body.
Zhong Yue frowned upon the incomplete awakening of the Fuxi bloodline. If only he had broken all the bloodline seals away, his Fuxi bloodline would be fully awakened, and he would turn into a true Fuxi. Yet, the end result was only close to twenty-percent of it being awakened with the majority of its latent potential still locked away behind the seals.
However, he could not sense where the rest of the bloodline seals were located at in his body, probably somewhere deep enough for them to hide away from his perceptiveness.
Over fifteen percent a Fuxi, in addition to the divine eye, divine heart and the incomplete divine bone, this should be sufficient enough, for now.
Zhong Yue stood up, filled in killing intent as he thought, More than enough to kill Demon Saint!
As their transport boat was destroyed, Saint Concubine removed her scarf and threw it into the sky. The white scarf turned into a 400 feet long square carpet with the beautiful flowers sewed on it emerged as if they were real.
Zhong Yue and the ladies then boarded the huge scarf carpet with all the blooming flowers around them. Atop it was him at the center and surrounded by the beautiful ladies.
As of now, he was in the form of Mo Luo, brawny 16 feet tall, looking like a huge black bear. He was a huge black spot in the midst of a parade of jade-like beauties, or a demon king that brought his wives out for a field trip.
Zhong Yue waved his hand, and he said majestically, “Let’s go!”
While they flew toward the Desolation City, Saint Concubine told Zhong Yue solemnly, “Senior martial brother, you have broken Tian’er’s boat already, please take care of mine and do not break my scarf again. I still need to wear it when we arrive at the Desolation City.
The ladies then took out the wines and accompanied their great Zhong Demon King, merrily dancing and chatting among themselves.
Tens of days passed in just the blink of an eye, the Desolation City had finally come into their view. Zhong Yue stood up, recollected his thoughts and readied himself for the upcoming battle. Just as he was just going to walk down from the flying scarf, Tian Mo Concubine had suddenly stepped forward and dragged him down. “Don’t move, even the manliest man needs the ladies to show the world his imposing manner.”
She then laid herself in Zhong Yue left arm, and she chuckled, “Saint Concubine, I’ll leave the right side to you while Ji Xiang, you shall sit on our dear master’s legs.”
Saint Concubine blushed red in shyness, but she laid in his right arm still while Ji Xiang Concubine chuckled happily and sat on one of Zhong Yue’s leg while another court lady stepped forward and sat on the other. As for the rest of the court ladies, some of them were feeding him wine, while others peeled grapes and fed them into his mouth. Some were playing music with a court lady singing along, and some others danced in front of him.
Zhong Yue’s face turned slightly red for a split second and returned to normal. He sat leisurely, curling his arms over the ladies while enjoying their services. As such, the scarf flew like a blooming flower into the Desolation City.
As of now, many experts were gathered in the city, and their auras swirled in the clouds above them and formed many patches of demonic clouds, each of which signaled the presence of an expert. These demonic clouds floated above the city while there were also many specters and phantoms emerging time to time in the sky, caused by the experts.
The city was way livelier than before, there was the aura of magnates, vaguely emanating throughout the city, causing those who felt them to shudder.
Today was the day where Mister Mo Luo and Demon Saint would go against in a battle – it was a huge event that shook the whole Eight Barren demon race. Demon Saint was quite renowned across the demons. He was a legendary demon that was venerated as a ‘saint’ by all eight saint clans; while this Mister Mo Luo came out of nowhere. Young and talented, this new rising star’s prowess should not be doubted. He battled with Demon Saint during the Triad Ritual, stopped the unstoppable Triad Ritual, and put all of Demon Saint’s hard work in vain. They were both incredible cultivators!
Furthermore, there was a rumor that claimed that Mister Mo Luo was an outsider, a non-demon and even his self-proclaimed guardian, Bo Xun, was a fabricated fictional figure that never even existed. Mister Mo Luo had played the whole demon race and Demon Saint in his hands. He cheated the ladies’ hearts away, stole Asura Saint Clan’s greatest cultivation techniques, and even fraternized with the human madman, Feng Xiaozhong, to kill the eight saint clans’ experts. What he had done was undoubtedly beyond reconciliation!
Meanwhile, the Demon Saint was also regarded as the one who committed the worst transgressions against the whole demon race. Hence, the eight saint clans had decided that the battle between the two sinners shall be carried out with no intervention from any outside parties and that no matter who remained standing in the end, none of the two would walk out of the city alive!
“Mister Mo Luo has arrived!”
Suddenly, an expert shouted, he said, “This brat, how imposing!”
Zhong Yue’s arrival had attracted countless eyes, and nearly all of the demons in the Desolation City have looked at him enviously.
“Treading an adventurous life with no regrets and no fear; living the best times with the ladies and girls. This is exactly how a man should live!”
“This brat, he thinks that he is a demon king? If he is really a demon, another new saint clan will rise high with him!”
Zhong Demon King was looking imposingly, and he flew into the highest platform in the Desolation City, he laughed and said, “Mo Luo is already here. So, where is Demon Saint?”
His voice rumbled like thunders and blasted in the sky, reverberating from one end to the other and back, clearly sounding in the ears of those present!
In the Desolation City, the weaker Qi Practitioners were decommissioned and sent into the dark abyss of unconsciousness, and thousands collapsed onto the ground.
It was a show of strength to gain the upper hand!
Some demon Qi Practitioners chided angrily, “This Mister Mo Luo, how domineering! I really want to see the face he will make when Demon Saint kills him in the battle!”
The Desolation Stage was a battle arena in the Desolation City, it was huge and wide, and was designed from the ground up to act as a battleground for the Qi Practitioners. However, despite its unusually colossal size, it was still too small for cultivators like Zhong Yue and Demon Saint.
As of now, there were more than countable experts on the stage, over 40 Heavenly Dharma giant Qi Practitioners and eight magnates. They all looked imposing, but as Zhong Yue alighted down onto the stage, their faces turned frigid and immense killing intents filled the air.
Zhong Yue smiled, he seemed indifferent to these experts’ provocations and ignored all of the killing intents that were directed at him.
“Presumptuous!”
Suddenly, a Heavenly Dharma expert said coldly, “Mo Luo, whether or not you are a demon, there are so many seniors over here and why aren’t you coming forward to greet us?”
Zhong Yue raised his brows, “Seniors? Even Demon Saint, the saint you eight saint clans revere, has acknowledged me as his peer. Who do you think you are, when compared to him?”
The Heavenly Dharma giant cultivator was incensed, and another giant cultivator of the Yan Mo Saint Clan frowned and said in a deep voice while repressing his simmering anger, “Mo Luo, you’ve colluded with Feng Xiaozhong and caused the deaths of many experts. This alone is more than enough a reason for me to kill you right here right now! This is the demon race’s Desolation City. I suggest you stay low and obediently come over to greet us. I hope that you’ll listen and not force me to kill you now!”
Zhong Yue didn’t even face squarely with the Yan Mo giant cultivator, he only looked over at the corner of his eyes and said, “Kill me? There are more people out there than I can count waiting for the chance to kill me, what makes you think you can do what they can’t?”
“You!”
The giant cultivator was on the verge of coughing blood, and suddenly, another Heavenly Dharma giant cultivator turned around and said smilingly, “Alright, alright. There is no need for further bluster. After all, he is already a dead man, what’s there to be angry about?”
“Who do you think you are to speak for my life?”
The Heavenly Dharma giant cultivator flushed red in embarrassment, he pushed his hand out and slammed over with the lightning sparking in the air. In response, Zhong Yue turned and slapped his hand over.
Crack!
The Desolation Stage crumbled into two perfect halves from the collision of palms, and an over hundred feet wide rift was created between them!
The Heavenly Dharma giant cultivator’s face turned redder than ever, his body was shaking, but as he looked over at Zhong Yue again. He was shocked. Zhong Yue was still sitting down leisurely as if nothing had happened, as if he had just slapped a naughty child to teach it a lesson.
All of a sudden, just as a magnate cleared his throat, the halved Desolation Stage was pushed back and restored back to normal by the magnate’s arcane energy.
“Hahahaha, Mister Mo Luo, demon or not, you are a man worthy as a friend!”
Suddenly, a loud laughter came as Shura strode up to the stage, he held a huge pot of wine and said smilingly, “Mister Mo Luo, I’m here to send you off.”
Zhong Yue then finally stood up for the first time. He replied with a smile and said, “Shura, you are too good a friend. I’m now a man who was most unwelcomed by the Eight Barren demon race, not a single piece of this demon land can I reside on. Yet, here you are, my only friend in this huge piece of demon land is here to send me off, are you not afraid of the condemnations from these experts?”
Shura was insouciant, he said, “You mean them? They are all just useless shits that never know how to value a person correctly, let alone distinguish the heroes from the mediocrities. So, what exactly do they have for me to be afraid of? However, in turn, if I can’t have a feast, even if it wasn’t sumptuous and the only thing we have is just a pot of wine, I’ll still commit to have a so-called, feast with you. After all, I have no intent on leaving any regrets in this life.”
