Lu Ling was standing outside of the back area with dozens of powerful warriors behind her, all at the Noble Lord Realm. Strange thing about them was that they were not terrified. Instead, they all gazed into the sky calmly.

Two Human Sovereign Realm warriors and millions of warriors outside began their attacks at the light blue shield. Loud noises were made. The shield was shaking, its color fading, a sure sign that the energy was being used up.

Many warriors flew out from their yards and gathered at the plaza. Some Noble Lord Realm warriors were yelling orders to deploy forces and were calling for more warriors to gather together.
Observing from the distance, Lu Li saw that more than one million warriors were gathered. There must be more than two million warriors in total including the ones standing at the city gate. More were still coming from all directions.
Lu Li heard the Noble Lord Realm warriors’ roars. If Lu Li had been Meng Ji, he should have gone toward the plaza. But Lu Li was not someone that would listen to orders. He only wanted to go to Lu Ling and protect her.
Finally, he made his way to the Drifting Cloud Hall. But he was stopped by the guards. Many more were watching him with psychic power and ready to execute him if he dared to barge in.
“I want to meet the Saintess. I have important information!”
Lu Li waved the jade talisman in his hand. But the guards outside the main hall acted as if they hadn’t seen it. A team leader yelled in anger, “F*ck off and go to the plaza!”

A man suddenly appeared behind Lu Li, a man covered in black armor. He showed a token and said, “Saintess says he is allowed in.”

The black-armored warrior must enjoy a high status. The guards didn’t dare to stop Lu Li anymore. He rushed in directly toward the back areas. He saw Lu Ling from the distance and was about to say something when Lu Ling waved her hand and shushed him.

Lu Ling said indifferently and she paid no more attention to Lu Li. She kept looking up at the sky calmly as if she was waiting for the shield to be cracked.

There were many warriors standing around Lu Ling and more scouts were in hiding. Lu Li didn’t have the courage to call her sister in public. He had to find another way and said, “The situation is critical. When the shield breaks, run with me, okay?”
Many Noble Lord Realm patriarchs were looking at Lu Li like he was an idiot. He was only at the initial stage of the Eternal Realm and he wanted to take Lu Ling, who was at the middle stage of the Noble Lord Realm away with him? Was he insane?
