935 The Past is a Mystery
Yao Tang felt that this was something that her grandparents would do. She took a deep breath.
“Do you believe me now?”

Ten years ago. That was also the time they had left. While she didn’t know where they had gone after that, at the very least she had something to hold onto.
“Since that’s the will of the heavens, I can only leave it up to them.” Yao Tang gazed on the foor.
Cheng Yan placed a hand on her shoulder.

“Grandpa!”

Cheng Yan simply raised his eyebrows.
“This is the first time I’ve ever met you. Why would I hate you?”
“Oh please! You may not hate me, but I’ll still make sure that your grandmother will pay for her blood!” Cheng Fang—just the name of his grandmother was enough to make his blood boil.
“You can try.”
This time, Cheng Yan’s eyes narrowed. The tension between them thickened once again as a dark aura filled the room.
Xiao Biao sighed, waving his hands up in the air. “Both of you, calm down! We still don’t know whether or not Cheng Fang was behind this, okay? Can we all just stop with this nonsense?”
“Hmph!” Yu Shu turned his face to the side, not willing to say anything more.
Cheng Yan sneered. “I may not know what grudges you have, but I know my grandmother. She would never do anything to do harm unto others. If there’s been a misunderstanding, then I would gladly clear her name. However, if you insist on her paying it with her blood—”
“Then don’t blame me for being merciless.”
His face was as cool as ice. His grandmother may not be kind, but she was fair.
He would never allow anyone to sully her name.
“Just let them go!” Yu Shu snapped.
Xiao Biao let out a long sigh and shook his head. He stood up straight and saluted them.
“Fine.”
On the private plane, Yao Tang couldn’t help but gaze at the man in front of her. He was leisurely drinking tea, leaning back against the leather seat. The afternoon sun shone across his face, making him appear as if he was dazzling.
He was quite handsome, yet he appeared so casual—far from the intimidating appearance that everyone thought he had.
Unknowingly, Yao Tang was so lost in her thoughts. She had only looked away when she noticed Cheng Yan’s amused gaze.
“You can look at me for as long as you want. I won’t charge,” he teased good-heartedly.
