Yao Ran knew that Qin Jinghad the backing of the entire Qin Family. They had enormous power and influence in the capital.
If this had been any other place, she would’ve been scared out of her mind. She wouldn’t dare insult them so directly unless she wanted to be blacklisted by the entire Qin Family.
At this point, she wasn’t even sure if the Yao Family would back her up.
However, things were much different now. Now, that she had Uncle Tian as her backing with the entire Xu Family, she could easily trick Yao Tangin entering their abode and beat them up.
No one would know what would happen to them.
The Xu Family, after all, lived far away from the city center point. In fact, they lived in the most chaotic neighborhood, with gangsters roaming around the area.
There were also no surveillance cameras to prove or even disprove their innocence. It was the perfect location.
Yao Ran had been waiting for Yao Tangto walk into her trap for the longest time. After all, she knew how concerned she had been for the old woman. What she didn’t expect was for Xu Xuanto betray her.
She’s the reason why her plan had been delayed!
At first, she had assumed that there had been a disturbance in her plans.
Only today did she realize that Xu Xuan was the reason why they hadn’t been coming over for this long.
If it weren’t for her, Uncle Tian would’ve been able to deal with them a long time ago.
“Uncle Tian, they’re the reasons why I’m injured. Take good care of them for me.” Her eyes flashed. “After all, they’ve come all this way. They must be tired.”
As she spoke, Yao Ran turned around.
She didn’t want anyone to see the deep hatred brewing in her eyes. If it hadn’t been for that woman, her foot wouldn’t have been injured. If it weren’t for her, she wouldn’t have to resort to this.
At the other end of the conversation, Qin Jing couldn’t help but furrow her eyebrows. What was going on with her?
However, she didn’t think that much of it. Whatever. She couldn’t care less about that crazy woman.
“Whatever! What the hell did you do to Grandma Xu?” she snapped. “I’m telling you. Do you know it’s illegal to prevent someone from seeing her doctor?”
Uncle Tian scoffed. “She’s doing well, but I wouldn’t say the same for you.” He sneered. “Worry about yourself first. This might even be the last words that come out of your mouth.”
Yao Ran stood right behind the man, smirking.
Now that she had Uncle Tian, she really felt more confident. The two wouldn’t be able to escape no matter what the circumstances.
As they were talking, dozens of people rushed down the stairs. They seemed to be holding bats and canes in their hand as they quickly surrounded the area.
Uncle Tian cracked his knuckles.
“Just because you’re girls doesn’t mean I’d go easy on you.”
“Please.” Qin Jing rolled her eyes. “Do you really think you’re enough to take us down? Even if you have five hundred people surrounding us, we wouldn’t be afraid of you!”
Yao Tang raised her eyebrows.
She really had some confidence to say that. Did she have some secret weapon on her? However, before she could ask, Qin Jing glanced over at her. “Yao Tang, go and fight them! Show them how powerful you are.”
What?
Yao Tang blinked exasperatedly. She had assumed that Qin Jingwould have something on her. She didn’t expect that she’d throw her right in the middle.
Xu Xuan paled almost immediately. “Don’t be rash,” she whispered urgently. “There’s too many of them. Look, I’ll try my best to stall them. You just have to run!”
“And what about you?”
“You guys don’t have to worry about me,” she quickly said. “I’ll be fine as long as you’re safe.”
Even then, Yao Tang didn’t believe her.
Xu Xuan didn’t appear fazed. “I’ll stop them myself,” she said. “Just break out and run! Once you’re farther away, they wouldn’t be able to do anything!”
Yao Tang clasped her shoulder. “Just go behind me,” she said softly. “I’ll handle it.”
