After Tong Yan knew about this, he took out the magazine and saw Evalyn, simply grinning after seeing her face. The distance between the eyes of this woman could almost place another mouth on the bridge of the nose. And even if she used that mouth to eat, it wouldn’t obstruct her sight at all.
After thinking about it, he called the housekeeper and said, “Help me check if the Shangkong Modelling Company is for purchase.”
The housekeeper asked very politely, “If they are, what are you going to tell Mr. Tong?”
“Oh… just tell my dad that I have nothing to do, so I want to buy a company to play with.”
“Okay.”
Tong Yan failed to buy the Shangkong Company in the end and the next method the housekeeper used was to acquire equity.
Shangkong was currently one of the best companies in the domestic modelling industry and it was not that easy to change leaders. Especially for Tong Yan, a second-generation ancestor who was completely unprofessional, transferring ownership to him was practically a joke.
Tong Yan didn’t really want this company a lot as he just wanted to get hold of Evalyn first.

Tong Yan: [No, why would I do this? I am one of the shareholders, so I have to make money from this thriving group of models.]

Tong Yan knew that a girl with a prideful heart like Evalyn hated being compared to the newcomers. From Evalyn’s point of view, Xu Xinduo was even lesser than a newcomer as she had only been in training for a few months.
Being compared to a junior was something that Evalyn couldn’t stand the most. So, complimenting her opponents in front of Evalyn from time to time would really annoy her to no end.
Evalyn’s contract with the Shangkong Company was a long-term contract. Hence, it must be within Tong Yan’s control over the next couple of years, so he was not afraid of what sort of other tricks Evalyn had up her sleeve.
Tong Yan’s method was as simple as that— strike where she would be at her weakest and monitor her actions.
After doing this, Tong Yan took out the book and recited the ancient texts which made his brain hurt. He remembered that classes were about to commence and he would attend his next lessons in the Advanced Class.
He was not familiar with anyone in the Advanced Class. The students couldn’t talk to each other and sleeping during class was not allowed either. The class was also fuller than the International Class and he would be forced to live on campus this semester. Just thinking about it made him feel very desolate.
