Even though Yao Yuan said that he still felt a little reluctant in letting go of his shot this early in time. He took a deep breath.
Yao Tang had the Diamond Card. Not only was it priceless, but it could open so many doors for him in the future.
No one should underestimate the power of that card. Not only could it empty the Tian Run Mall, but it could even bar people from entering.
This was truly a very important decision he needed to make.
Yao Ran’s eyes flashed with displeasure. She knew that her father was a little reluctant in letting go of his other daughter. Plastering a smile on her face, she instead took out another card from her pocket and handed it to him.
“This is Young Master Cheng’s business card,” she stated. “His contact information is on it, so maybe there’s a chance that we could be connected with the Cheng Family.”
Her face brightened. “With a little bit of insistence, our Yao Family could become much stronger in the future.”
Upon seeing her daughter acting on it, Qin Man also stepped to attention.
She placed both her hands on top of Yao Yuan and insisted, “Imagine, our Yao Family, once strategically tied with the Cheng’s, would become one of the top families in City A. Let’s see who’d dare look down on us.”
“Of course.”
Yao Yuan smiled. The worry was gone from his features as he breathed a sigh of relief. If all went well, which it would, he wouldn’t need Yao Tanganyway.
“Come here, Ranran.” He patted the seat beside him. “Let me look at you.”
Her plan had worked!
That meant Yao Yuan wouldn’t be allowing Yao Tanginto their home again. As long as she wouldn’t be welcomed, everything else would be manageable. Her parents would still cherish and adore her as they usually do.
Yao Ran smiled and made her way to her father.
There was a hint of gentleness in her face as she looked up at him.
“You are truly growing more and more beautiful,” he said softly, nodding in satisfaction. “Not only are you incredibly smart, but you are also quite talented in the arts. I’m sure Young Master Cheng would be interested in you.”
There was a short pause before he added, “Don’t let us down, all right?”
It was final. They were going to do whatever it takes.
Yao Ran simply nodded.
Yao Yuan glanced at the wall, deep in thought. “I heard from many other families that Cheng Zhouwould be coming to City Ato not only celebrate Miss Qin’s birthday, but all discuss business matters with a few of his partners.”
“In other words, he will be staying in City A for quite a while. This is a good opportunity for you to rise up.”
Yao Yuan glanced at her. “You have to understand that someone of his stature would naturally have rich and powerful women all clawing their way to have him. When necessary, you must be ready to submit yourself to using other tricks.”
There was a moment of silence when he tilted his head. “Do you understand what this means?”
Of course, she knew what it meant.
If needed, Yao Ran would just have to bring him to bed and get herself pregnant. These were normal tricks that she had been exposed to growing up.
As long as her family would be able to get their share of benefits, it would be worth it.
“Don’t worry, Dad. I understand.” She nodded. “I’ll update you on any progress.”
“Okay.” Yao Yuan took out his wallet and grabbed a check.
After writing something down, he handed it to Yao Ran.
“That check is worth a million. If you and Young Master Cheng are in need of some money, then feel free to spend it on him, all right?”
He warned, “Don’t let Young Master Cheng look down on our family, all right?”
“Of course!” Yao Ran hurriedly took the check and a big smile emerged on her face. “Thank you, Dad!”
Qin Man smiled at the sight.
