“If you said you didn’t cheat, then what is this?” Luo Hua slammed the folded paper onto the desk, glaring at Yao Tang.
Xi Yan was silent, but there was doubt shining in her eyes. Weeks before, they had already tried to wrong her, yet Yao Tang had revealed the truth. Perhaps, she also had something to say about this today.
Yao Ran took a step closer, extending her hands as if she wanted to hug her sister. “Now that Teacher Luo has found out what you’ve done, it’s best that you admit to it,” she slowly said. “I’m sure we can figure something out as to how to deal with this.”
“If you continue being stubborn like this, I won’t be able to protect you from the consequences.”
“Stubborn about what? That I didn’t cheat?” Yao Tang crossed her arms and tilted her head.
“Don’t be so stubborn,” she snapped, before taking a deep breath. “I just found the test paper scrunched inside your drawer–what else do you have to say? Please, Yao Tang, let me help you!”
“Ranran, don’t bother talking to her.” Luo Hua sneered. “Let’s report this to the Dean of the school. Let’s see what consequences wait for her.”
His voice echoed outside the room, and the other students froze.
They had never seen Luo Hua this angry before.
“What? Cheat?”
Qin Jing stood outside, listening attentively to Luo Hua’s words. Her face was stricken.
How could she cheat?
She was always the one who had asked Sister Tang different types of questions about the test. Without the book in her hand, Sister Tang had always solved it all easily and quickly.
“I’m going in!” Meng Yang roared like a dragon being held captive. “How dare they speak against her like this?”
Lin Xin tried to pull him back, but it was to no avail.
Within a few seconds, they had already stumbled into the room.
Who would dare frame her Sister Tang?
As soon as they stumbled in, they saw that Yao Tang’s table was a mess. It looked like a tornado had sped into the classroom, with all her papers and food scattered across the floor. They gasped.
Upon turning around, they caught the gloating look painted across Yao Ran’s face. They sneered.
Sister Tang had been framed!
“Luo Hua, you old man,” he snapped. “Before you wrong Sister Tang, don’t you need better proof? You even screamed at her like she’s some…she’s some…do you want to be taught a lesson?”
Meng Yang stomped toward him. His face was bright red with anger, and his fists were clenched.
Yao Ran was so scared that she couldn’t help but take a step back. Her heart was racing in her chest, and the cold feeling settled in her stomach.
Behind him, Qin Jing had also walked into the room–her eyes filled with anger and rage.
Lin Xin also followed closely behind.
Something unraveled inside of Meng Yang, and he immediately rushed to her side. He was just about to reach for Luo Hua, when someone had pulled him back.
“What do you want to do then? You want to hit a teacher?” Luo Hua staggered back, feeling his heart race in his chest. His eyebrows were tightly furrowed as he clenched his fists, preparing for the oncoming attack.
The atmosphere was so tense.
Xi Yan’s face was filled with anxiety. “Don’t be rash,” she demanded, gripping her student’s arm even tighter. “If you hit Luo Hua, there would be no turning back.”
“That’s right, Meng Yang. I’m sure Sister is innocent,” Yao Ran said softly, walking toward him. “Don’t be angry.”
Qin Jing rolled her eyes at her and pulled Meng Yang back. “Let’s just wait here and see who dares sabotage Sis Tang’s reputation. The guy speaks without proof in his hands.” She scoffed. “If she really cheated, then he should show some evidence.”
Her words were loud and clear, and she stood her ground.
Lin Xin also stood in front of Yao Tang, with Xiao Pang and the others following right behind her. They stared at Luo Hua with a fiery flame in their eyes.
Luo Hua snorted. “Do you want any proof? Look at the test paper in my hand–this was found on Yao Tang’s desk!”
“You think I’m lying about this?”
After saying these words, Luo Hua had originally thought that the people she once called friends would turn against her. He didn’t expect that they’d stare at him firmly.
They were all stubborn people!
“Sister, just admit it. Don’t you think it’s better, to be honest?” Yao Ran insisted. “Teacher Luo isn’t an unreasonable person. I’m sure he’d think of something to save you.”
Luo Hua clenched his jaw.
At that moment, Yao Tang who had been glancing at her phone, would meet Luo Hua’s ice-cold gaze. They stared at each other for a brief minute, before he turned away.
In an instant, an icy feeling coursed through Luo Hua’s veins. One look from Yao Tang and he felt as if his body was being thrown into the freezer.
It was terrifying!
