Feeling Madara’s power washing over her, Yuna couldn’t help but smile.
‘Just how long has it been since I got a chance to experience this. Haa~ Despite it being one of my favorite things, I rarely can experience it. Why is it so hard to get into this kind of situation.’
[Isn’t that because you are a monster?]
‘Hehe, I guess that’s true.’
[Honestly, I would prefer not to get into this kind of situation at all.]
‘What are you saying, Kurama. This feeling is the best. Facing an opponent that not only wants to kill you but even has the necessary strength to do so…’
A shiver passed through Yuna’s body as the battle intent radiating off her body kept increasing at a tremendous rate. A massive, madness-filled grin split her face.
“IT’S THE BEST!!!”
Without any further delays, Yuna shot toward Madara. Mid-flight, her whole body got covered by a dense chakra cloak, swiftly followed by an intricate ice armor. Nine chains burst out of her back, which were quickly covered by the previously mentioned chakra cloak, making them look like nine tails. And finally, a highly ornamented, two-handed sword appeared in Yuna’s hands, which she swiftly slashed at Madara.
*CLANG*
Although Madara was surprised by Yuna’s sudden attack, he still managed to react in time. He used his will to move one of the balls floating behind his back and turned it into a staff, which he used to block Yuna’s attack.
Yuna couldn’t help but laugh out loud when the two weapons collided.
“HAHAHA, YES!!! I PRAISE YOU FOR BEING ABLE TO BLOCK MY SWORD STRIKE!!!”
Madara was just about to comment that it was impossible to destroy or even damage a weapon made out of a truth-seeker ball, but those words got stuck in his throat when he realized that there was actually a tiny nick on his staff.
‘Seriously? How much of a monster is she?’
Despite having these thoughts, Madara was still very calm. Even if Yuna could still keep up with him, that would undoubtedly change as soon as he gets his hands on his second eye, so victory was only a matter of time, in his opinion.
Madara quickly made his next move, causing one of the black orbs floating behind him to tackle Yuna, but to his surprise, one of her tails blocked the blow. Usually, the truth-seeking orbs would disturb chakra when coming in contact with it, but that was somehow not the case with Yuna’s tails, which were entirely made of chakra.
Despite his initial confusion, Madara quickly realized that that had very likely something to do with Yuna’s chains being part of the tail. Whether it was a seal or something else, he couldn’t tell.
“Hehe, what’s wrong, Madara? Surprised that you are not the only one with extra limbs?”
Madara couldn’t help but sneer when Yuna mentioned extra limbs. He activated another one of his Rinnegan’s abilities, which allowed him to create invisible clones of himself that could only use taijutsu and were unkillable.
One of the clones was just about to punch Yuna, when two of Yuna’s tails pierced through its body.
“Typical Uchiha arrogance. Do you honestly think these parlor tricks can phase me? You disappoint me, Madara. Discard that worthless arrogance. Open your eyes properly and look at me. I am not someone you should look down upon.”
Madara frowned deeply when he heard Yuna’s words.
‘Arrogant? Indeed, since I have absorbed the Juubi, I have been looking down on everything and was repeatedly proven wrong. Pathetic. Am I a twelve-year-old?’
Yuna smiled as there was a visible shift in Madara’s temperament. Instead of looking down on her, he was now looking directly at Yuna.
“Good! Those are the eyes of someone worth fighting! COME, MADARA!!!”
Just like Yuna’s, Madara’s face twisted in glee as his battle intent burst forth.
“HAHAHA, LET’S DANCE!!!”
Yuna and Madara’s hands blurred as they swung their weapons with ridiculous speed, causing dozens of clashes within a second. Meanwhile, all of Madara’s truth-seeker orbs started moving as well, but they were quickly intercepted by Yuna’s tails.
Two weapons, nine tails, and nine truth-seeker orbs kept clashing again and again, neither giving the other person a chance to advance or retreat.
One might think that these two were in a pretty equal position, but Yuna was slowly getting pushed back due to the existence of Madara’s limbo clones.
Although Yuna could detect their presence and could easily counter them if they sneak attacked her, the current situation was completely different, as only fighting Madara was already quite difficult. Adding a few limbo clones to the mix was a little bit too much to defend against.
So, after a few more minutes of back and forth, Madara was the first one to lander a proper hit, punching Yuna in the stomach and sending her crashing into the ground.
“HAHAHA, THIS IS AMAZING. UP UNTIL NOW, ONLY HASHIRAMA COULD DANCE WITH ME LIKE THAT!!!”
Yuna got up from the ground and casually dusted off his clothes. Despite just getting hit, there was still a massive smile on her face.
‘Yeah, this will be a lot of fun, but I should allow the last phase to slip out of my awareness. Are we done soon, Kurama? I don’t really have the freedom to check right now.’
[Yes, almost done. We need around a minute, and it is finally done.]
‘Good.’
Yuna focused on Madara, and moments later, multiple people landed next to her.
“Are you alright, nee-san?”
Naruto couldn’t help but be slightly worried about Yuna. After all, he had never seen her getting pushed back while using her full power. However, as soon as she saw the broad smile on her face, he couldn’t help but smile wryly himself.
‘I guess that was a stupid question.’
“Anyway, let us help, Yuna.”
“Hehe, that’s right, don’t think we would allow you to hog all the fun by yourself.”
“LEE, LET’S SHOW OFF OUR YOUTH!!!”
“YES, GUY-SENSEI!!!”
Yuna could only smile wryly at everyone’s attics, and moments later, she felt it.
Finally, it was time.
