“You are back?”
Gu Shishi, who had just finished brushing her teeth, heard the noises from the bathroom and ran out.

These were fondness assigned by the system? And she was doing them because there was a system?

There were no interrogations or scolding.

Gu Shishi shuddered.
“It’s alright if nobody is willing to get close to me.”
Huo Sishen’s voice was hoarse like that of sand.
“It’s alright that they are all afraid of me.”
She did not need to kiss up to others like a fool.
She had tried very hard to bring others close to him… but, all he needed was her.
He shut his dark eyes.
With his arms around her, everything that he had been missing over the years had been replaced.
There are too many obstacles in life.
Adversities that came abruptly; aggressions that came out of nowhere. Anyone could be defeated by these at any time.
He was fine when his mother had crumbled and cried helplessly back then.
He was fine with her crying with him in her arms, or yelled at him.
But he didn’t want her to put up a front and told him that she was fine and pretended that she didn’t blame him but turn around and had fear and desperation written in her eyes.
Huo Sishen took a deep breath and hugged the girl tightly with his eyes closed.
Not everyone has the courage to resolve the issues when they were backed into a corner.
But this girl that he had in his arms did it.
She was afraid of him in the beginning but she was very courageous at the end.
“We will have the butler look for a new nutritionist tomorrow.”
They should have a child.
One that was like her.
All of a sudden, an uncontrollable anticipation sprang up in him.
Gu Shishi blinked and her pounding heart finally returned to normal.
She turned around and wrapped her arms around his waist.
She placed her cheek on his chest and listened to the strong beating of his heart.
She had no idea why he brought up a nutritionist but she felt that the boss right now made her heart ached.
“Mmm.”
More hugging. More deep kisses.
Quickly, the notebook with brown leather covered was kicked into a corner.
And the two rolled from the leather couch… onto the pure white sheep skin on the floor…
