Huo Yao touched her nose. Why did it feel as though he could read her mind?
Before long, she straightened her back and rooted for herself!
Min Yu’s lips twitched and did not expose her. He placed his phone in his pocket before he stood up and said, “Uh huh. Let me walk you back”
Huo Yao disregarded the awkwardness and nodded forcibly before following behind him slowly.
The two of them walked one after another. As they walked through the well-manicured garden, there was a cooling night breeze in the air. Since it was already October, in the capital, the temperature difference between day and night was a little wider.
Min Yu opened the front door and showed Huo Yao out. Just as she was about to walk past him, he suddenly pulled her back and asked. “Are you cold?”
Huo Yao was walking with her head lowered. The moment she heard his question, she was briefly stunned and did not quite understand what he was saying. “Huh?”
Min Yu smiled. He slid his hands down, held her hand, and interlocked their fingers tightly. “I am sure you are.”
Huo Yao went speechless.
Min Yu smiled happily as he walked her out of his villa.
A few minutes later, he finally let go of Huo Yao’s hand after they reached the villa. He raised his head and glanced at the villa before he looked at her deeply for some time until he finally said, “Go on in. Good night.”
Huo Yao’s eyes drifted past him and she said softly, “Good night.”
She turned to walk over to the main entrance and entered the security code. After the door opened, she could hear Min Yu’s deep voice coming from behind. “Oh yes. Yang Yi just called to say they have transferred the compensation to your bank account.”
Huo Yao promptly stumbled. She paused without looking back and simply gestured okay from behind before heading into the villa.
How could she have lost her cool?
Min Yu laughed gently and shook his head

The moment Huo Yao entered the villa, she could smell food in the air. She rubbed her belly as she walked over to the dining room and saw her third older brother setting the table, so she walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
Huo Yulin looked at her sideways and said, “Wash your hands.”
“Okay.” Huo Yao stood up obediently.
After washing her hands, she quickly came back. Just as she was about to pick up her chopsticks and start eating, her fingers froze as she looked at Huo Yulin sideways. “Brother Yulin, are we expecting guests today?”
There were surprisingly three sets of cutlery on the table.
“Uh huh.” Huo Yulin paused briefly before he nodded.
No wonder he had ordered more food than usual.
Huo Yao chewed her chopsticks in contemplation.
Meanwhile, Huo Tingrui came out of the bathroom. The moment he heard their conversation, his face instantly looked annoyed. “I am your second older brother!”
He strode over and glared at Huo Yulin. They had only left home for a few months, but Huo Yulin was already stirring trouble.
“Brother Tingrui, when did you arrive?” Huo Yao’s eyes lit up when she saw Huo Tingrui.
“Today.” Huo Tingrui sat down beside Huo Yao and scrutinized her before he said, “You have lost weight. Did your third older brother abuse you?”
Huo Yulin felt flabbergasted.
“You are such a bad older brother.” Huo Tingrui pursed his lips in disdain.
Huo Yao glanced at Huo Yulin who was at a loss. She pushed the bowl and chopsticks in front of Huo Tingrui and said, “Enough. Stop bullying him.”
Huo Tingrui sneered. Now, he was determined to expand his law practice and conduct business in the capital!
“Are you here for work?” Huo Yao ate a piece of pork ribs and spoke in a stifled tone.
The moment Huo Tingrui heard what she said, he sighed deeply. “What work? Can’t I just come to visit my little sister?”
