The kids were extremely obedient as they washed up before returning to the dining table.
There were several plates of delicate small dishes and two dishes of freshly stir-fried vegetables on the wooden table.

The boiled eggs had been chilled with iced water and were just the right temperature for shelling.
There was also a piping hot bowl of lean pork porridge in front of everyone.

The sound of saliva being swallowed was extremely clear.
Usually at this juncture, the entire Team Logic would still be sleeping. They initially thought that they’d be very sleepy during filming today but to their surprise, they were extremely energetic after arriving.
Now, they were feeling nothing but peckish!
Xiang Yi urged, “What are you guys waiting for?Dig in.”
The kids finally began to move their cutlery.
The doughsticks were crispy and delicious, with a crunchy exterior and an airy interior that resembled a sponge cake.
The milky flavor was mixed with a slightly peppery flavor and tinges of sweetness, saltiness and spiciness to create a rich texture.
It was absolutely delectable, be it when eaten directly or soaked in porridge.
The lean pork and century egg porridge tasted even better. The rice grains had basically been boiled the point of disintegrating, creating a sticky and viscous mouthfeel. The pork was first steamed and then fried, hence resulting in a chewy bite. The century egg was smooth and appetizing while the mushroom was tender and fragrant. When paired together, they seemed to be able to set off an electric current that blossomed at the tip of one’s tongue, stimulating her taste buds and brain straight away.
“Ahhhh it smells heavenly!!!”
“Ooo this is the best porridge I’ve ever eaten in my life!”
“These pickled vegetables are delicious too! It’s sour and spicy, and it’s got a lot of kick! Xiang Yi, you’re amazing!”
“Yes, yes, yes, Xiang Yi, you’re awesome!”

The kids were flattering Xiang Yi and sucking up to her while she said with a gentle smile, “Eat more if you like. If you want pickled vegetables or whatever, I can pack some for you when you leave.”
The crowd cheered.

Xiang Yi finished her porridge calmly but she couldn’t help but dangle her legs twice under the table.

She didn’t expect to get what she wanted today.
Shi Sui sat on her left and leaned over. He whispered, “Are you happy, Sister?”

Xiang Yi’s hand trembled and her spoon clinked in the porcelain bowl.
How could she explain it?
She didn’t feel anything when the kids called her ‘Sister’ but when Shi Sui did,her legs went limp…
“Ahem.” The young lady pretended to be serious and asked, “Do you want to have some eggs? I’ll de-shell one for you.”
Shi Sui said, “Let me do it.”
Xiang Yi quickly snatched the bowl of eggs and said with a serious expression on her face, “No, a man’s hands are not meant for such chores!”
Shi Sui raised his eyebrows and smiled noncommittally.
“In that case, thank you, Xiang Yi~ I’m so lucky to have met such a nice person like you~”
Xiang Yu, who was the closest to him, was speechless.
‘Shi Sui is really becoming more and more shameless.’
