The cub had emptied the milk bottle and Feng Wu couldn’t tell what was in the milk. She had no choice but to take the cub and its bottle to Feng Xun.
Feng Xun lived with Jun Linyuan and Xuan Yi.
Feng Wu found the place without difficulty.
Since no one was guarding the door and the wall wasn’t high either, Feng Wu stuffed the cub in her pocket, jumped swiftly onto the wall, and landed in the garden on the other side.
The earthquake had destroyed most of the houses in Wanping Town and most of the folks were living in tents at the moment.
The most exquisite and magnificent house had been saved for the crown prince.
Feng Wu was a little baffled as she looked around the spacious courtyard.
Which one was Feng Xun living in?
Since no one was around, she didn’t know who to ask.
Feng Wu wandered around, and just when she was going to push a random door open to ask the person inside —
“Thump —”
Someone landed behind her when she reached for the door handle!
Turning around, Feng Wu saw someone she knew in the silver moonlight.
“Feng Xun!” Feng Wu cried out. “There you are! I’ve been looking everywhere for you. You —”
Before Feng Wu could finish, she saw that Feng Xun was staring at her unblinkingly with an indescribable look on his face. His face turned various shades of color, making him look like a walking rainbow.
“You — you —” Pointing at Feng Wu, Feng Xun stumbled back, the look in his eyes a mix of disbelief, astonishment, and terror!
Terror? Feng Wu was bewildered. What was wrong with Feng Xun? All she did was come in here to get some food for her cub. It was starving.
“Feng Wu, you —” Feng Xun swallowed, then said slowly, “Y- you —”
“I what?” Feng Wu looked at Feng Xun in confusion.
“How can you do this? I can’t believe you’ve become like this. I thought that at least you were different from the others and that you would value your reputation. You shouldn’t be like every other girl. Why… why are you doing this?” Feng Xun turned into a chatterbox as his imagination consumed him. “Why are you doing this? I feel like I don’t know you at all!”
Question marks were popping out of the top of Feng Wu’s head as she stared at Feng Xun in confusion. “Young Lord Feng, are you… sleepwalking?”
Feng Xun glared at Feng Wu. “Just because you’re a good doctor doesn’t mean that you can hypnotize me! You can’t get away with this by doing that!”
Feng Wu was really pissed now. “Feng Xun! You’re not making any sense! You keep talking about me doing this thing, but what on earth have I done to freak you out like this?!”
She really had no idea at all!
It was so frustrating to be wronged like this!
Feng Xun gave her a very strange, ineffable look. “Are you not trying to climb into Boss Jun’s bed?”
“What?!!!”
That successfully freaked Feng Wu out!
Where on earth did Feng Xun get that idea and why did he even believe it?!
“Feng Xun, what’s inside your head? A brain or a sponge?! Me climb into Jun Linyuan’s bed? Are you blind or an idiot?! You’re… I can’t believe this!” Feng Wu yelled at the top of her lungs.
She had always been a level-headed person, but after Feng Xun’s repeated misunderstandings, she could no longer hold back her temper.
Feng Xun looked at Feng Wu quietly, then looked behind her…
