Country M was very chaotic. Guns were legal in this place, and many people owned one or two.
The shopping malls closed early. At night, the streets were empty.
When they arrived, the local guide warned them not to go out at night unless absolutely necessary.
They were told to bring some cash at all times in case they encountered a mugger, they could give the money to keep themselves safe.
In Country M, no one knew Chunxue. Since she was a nobody here, she received no celebrity treatment, unlike in the Empire.
Haruyuki could not bear the big difference in treatment.
She would rather be a big fish in a small pond than a small fish in the ocean.
“Miss Chunxue, we’re here.”
The van was parked in front of a manor. Chunxue looked at the manor before her and was surprised.
The manor had nearly a hundred years of history.
Chunxue had just got out of the car when she saw two rows of attendants waiting to greet her. “Welcome, Miss Chunxue.”
They were racially diverse—some had blond hair, while others had black; some had blue eyes, while others had brown; some had yellow skin, while others had dark.
Chunxue was shocked by the scene in front of her. She looked at the two dark-skinned helpers behind her quizzically. ‘What’s happening?’
“Miss Chunxue, please come in.”
Chunxue was invited into the manor by the attendants.
Once inside the manor, Chunxue was overwhelmed by its luxurious interiors. She felt as if she was inside a castle.
She saw many things that had only appeared in fairy tales.
“Miss Chunxue, we will help you get dressed.”
A maid assisted Chunxue in putting on the corset and getting into the ball gown. It had a wide skirt, and the fabric felt so smooth.
“What is this place?” Chunxue whispered to the maid with black hair and yellow skin.
The maid responded with a smile, but refused to give Chunxue an answer.
‘What is this place? Who are these people?’
Chunxue was a little confused by the sight in front of her, but she was sure that they weren’t bad people.
Then, who were they?
Why did they bring her here?
“Miss Chunxue, please come.”
Chunxue, who was now dressed, was led into a study. She looked around in bewilderment.
“Miss Chunxue.”
A man’s low and slightly hoarse voice was heard.
Chunxue asked, stunned, “Are you the young master?”
“I am a fan of your movies, and I like your TV series very much. I heard that my two attendants frightened you. I’m sorry. They are a bit simple-minded.”
From where she was standing, Chunxue could only see the man’s silhouette.
The man’s glance made Chunxue’s heart beat faster.
“I never expected to have such an outstanding fan.”
The man’s low laugh filled the quiet room.
“That’s because I’m a silent admirer, Miss Chunxue.”
Chunxue’s heart pounded wildly.
She really wanted to know who this wealthy fan of hers was. Was he good-looking?
“They call you Young Master?” Chunxue asked.
The man replied, “Some people call me Young Master. However they address me doesn’t matter.”
“Then what should I call you?” Chunxue said. She had no idea what the man wanted from her.
But she felt in her heart that, so far, the man had no malicious intentions towards her.
“You can call me Young Master,” he replied in a low voice.
“Only those who are close to me can call me Young Master. I’m hoping that you’ll be one of them…”
