Fu Hua troubled Jia Li till she gave up on eating. She knew she had to leave the dining room, or he won't let her rest, so she excused herself and left. She said she was going to sleep, so they let her leave.
Fu Hua faked a cough before following after his little wife.
When he got to their bedroom, Jia Li was already lying under the covers. Fu Hua smiled and dimmed the light in the room before getting into bed with her.
When he lay down, he tried to hug her, but she hit his hands away.
"Don't touch me, I'm tired." Jia Li said with her back against him.
Fu Hua chuckled softly and hugged her forcibly. "I'm not asking you to do anything. Just lie in my arms and sleep. I have to stop you from eating, because of the doctor's words. I'm only looking out for you."
"If you are looking out for me, why then did you give me your share of snacks?" Jia Li asked in a confused tone.
"You accepted the snacks from grandfather after taking mine when you still had yours, who knew who's own you would have accepted next." Fu Hua said to her.
Jia Li finally understood the reason he distracted her from eating. She stopped throwing tantrums and allowed him to hug her to sleep.
The next morning, the Fu family members, freshened up and came out for breakfast, and at noon, they started the activities they had prepared for the Christmas celebration.
There was a treasure hunt which Fu YingPei won, singing carol sings, plus other fun games. At last, it was time to give gifts and everyone actually prepared a gift from each member of the family.
Jia Li and Fu Hua gave their gifts as one, and try received them as one, and also in singles.
The small family banquet was lively, as they all ate different festive dishes and drank to their satisfaction.
Before going to rest for the night, they opened up the letters that were sent to them from family and friends and read them aloud.
