“But what about the meals?” Mrs. Wei didn’t want her daughter to suffer.
“No meals for her. I’ll starve her for a few days. What she did shamed all of us.”
The senior Mr. Wei was angry not only because his daughter was caught in a hotel room with Shen Mingxi but that she still wanted to contact Shen Mingxi after she got home.
He felt ashamed that his daughter wanted to go back to her ex; the elderly gentleman was very traditional in his thoughts.
Jiang Xiaowei wanted to speak for her sister-in-law, but seeing her father-in-law’s fury, she didn’t dare to add fuel to the fire; besides, her husband agreed with his father’s measures.

“Grandpa, I don’t have school tomorrow. I want to stay.”

“She was sent home by Grandpa.”
