“In the cell. I will take you and the Prince there.” The Chief said with a sense of anger. He was going to interrogate this miss of the Gu Family together with Madame Duke Changning and Prince.
Madame Duke Changning smiled with satisfaction. Then she followed the chief into the cell.
On the way there, Duke Changning patted Lu Jiming’s hands. “Don’t worry, Jiming, she will pay back with a higher price!”
Lu Jiming felt his bloated face and made a hissing sound.
He looked furious and said angrily, “She is not going to pay back with a higher price, but also become my concubine and I can do whatever I want with her!”
“Okay, okay, when you vent your anger, I will talk with the Gu Family. If the old woman doesn’t approve of this idea, we can cancel our marriage with the Gu Family.” Madame Duke Changning said with a reasonable tone.
Lu Jiming did not counter.
As the gang came to the cell the Chief went to open the door, then they entered the cell.
The cell was much darker compared to outside. It was daytime, so with an oil lamp on, it could more or less be seen clearly. The cell was a wet place that held prisoners. It was messy and filthy, and the sound of mice hissing could be heard.
Madame Duke Changning frowned. She hated this kind of environment, but as she thought of the ugly girl trapped inside, she felt very delighted again.
The guard stopped in front of a cell, and the door was opened.

The Chief cringed subconsciously.
Madame Duke Changning sneered. “Someone, hit her now!!”
Hearing this, the officer came in with a whip.
Annoyed, Madame Duke Changning grabbed the whip and hit Gu Chaoyan twice. The force was so strong that two lines of blood burst out. Gu Chaoyan let out a hiss.
The next second, Madame Duke Changning was kicked away.
However, it was not Gu Chaoyan who did it, but a man in black.
Before the Chief realized what happened a very ferocious voice arose not far away. “I would very much like to see who dared to hit her!”
