Feng Yunsheng shook her head and replied, “I don’t know. Mother has been insane for as long as I can remember. I only gathered a little information from listening to her crazy rants before I came searching for you.”
Feng Yunsheng had only seen her mother at the time she started to form memories. She had been deranged then too, holding her and shouting for Dai’er. She was frightened by that woman. It was only much later that she realized that woman was her mother.
“What about my father?” Feng Tianlan asked anxiously. Mother was always insane, so what happened to Father?
Feng Yunsheng shook her head again and felt bad as she answered, “I did not see him. The Empress Dowager did not tell me about him.”
“The Empress Dowager?” Feng Tianlan looked at her quizzically. How many mothers did Feng Yunsheng have?
Feng Yunsheng nodded in reply. “She is Tianfeng Nation’s former empress. She is already dead. But the current empress is my Imperial Sister. I knew how to come here because my Imperial Sister told me.”
When Feng Yunsheng was young, she was able to see her mother thanks to her Imperial Sister’s credit. Otherwise, she would not have been able to see her mother, much less find out that she had another biological sister.
