Their wedding night!
Some things had to be held off until their wedding night. It was his way of showing his love and respect for her!
Mobai, why do you have to be such a saint?
Feng Tianlan lay on the bed, holding the quilt close. At the thought of Si Mobai’s unsatisfied expression, and the fact that he had to resort to taking a cold shower in the bathroom to get rid of his urges, she couldn’t help giggling foolishly.
She couldn’t resist saying to herself, “What am I to do? I keep falling deeper and deeper in love with Mobai.”
Inside the bathroom, Si Mobai, who was in the middle of taking a cold shower, overheard Feng Tianlan’s words, and his face couldn’t help but break out into a smile. He, too, was falling deeper and deeper in love with Lan’er!
“Lan’er, come on in for a lovers’ bath.” Si Mobai wiped his body dry and changed into a fresh set of clothes. When he saw the suspicious pool of liquid inside his pants, a blush stained his tender, fair face.
He couldn’t help himself. Fantasizing about Lan’er, his hands had taken on a mind of their own…
This was the first time he’d done this. Although it was shameful, because it was Lan’er who he’d fantasized about, he didn’t feel ashamed at all.
Feng Tianlan heard him, and her face immediately reddened. “Stop it. I’m tired.”
“In that case, I’m coming out to grab you.” Si Mobai withdrew his gaze and calmly walked out of the bathroom.
When Feng Tianlan saw him emerge, she burrowed deeper into the quilt and tightly closed her eyes. “No,” she said.
Si Mobai strode forward and lifted the covers off of her to see her huddled underneath like an ostrich. He reached out to scoop her up into his long arms. “You stink. Take a shower!”
“Mobai.” Feng Tianlan blinked her luminous eyes and said, “You promised that you’d wait until our wedding night.”
They couldn’t mess around. They weren’t married yet, and it wasn’t appropriate for them to take a lovers’ bath together either.
Si Mobai grunted in acknowledgment and carried her to the bathtub. “The temperature of the water is just right. Take a shower quickly before you catch a cold. I’ll wait outside for you.” With that, he turned around and left.
He’d simply been teasing her earlier. There was no way he’d do something like that to her before they were married.
Feng Tianlan watched as he closed the door behind him and couldn’t stop her face from turning red. She felt ashamed for thinking such dirty thoughts.
She undressed and entered the bathtub, submerging her face in the water. Only when her face was no longer burning did she slowly raise her head out of the water. Cupping her warm face in her hands, she suddenly remembered that she still looked like a man, which meant that Mobai had done that shameful deed while looking at a man’s face.
This made Feng Tianlan feel embarrassed, and she hurriedly retrieved an elixir from the Pill Scroll Realm. She smeared it all over her face before rinsing it off with water. Seeing her true appearance in the reflection of the water, she smiled. She would use the Face Changing Elixir to make herself look like a man again the next day.
Si Mobai’s upper body was bare as he leaned against the head of the bed. A book was in his hands. When he heard the door open, he raised his head and looked up, and his pupils couldn’t help but shrink. Feng Tianlan had suddenly appeared before his eyes looking like a beautiful vision emerging from the bathroom.
A few strands of wet hair clung to the front of her chest, and her undergarments were soaked through. The faint outline of her curves made his abdomen tighten, and the desire that he’d fought hard to restrain was roused again by her.
“Lan’er.” Si Mobai lowered his voice.
Feng Tianlan had since calmed down and was no longer anxious. With a simple hum of agreement, she walked over to him.
“Come here.” Si Mobai placed the book in his hand down and straightened his back. His eyes burned as he gazed at her. Her slender body, which he hadn’t seen for three months, seemed to have gotten even thinner. She must not have been eating well.
“All right.” Feng Tianlan reached out a hand to rub her wet hair and walked toward him, seemingly impervious to the fire in his eyes.
