It was rare for spiritual ingredients and feys to emit a pink glow. There were only a few plant-type feys that could bear flowers that radiated with pink light.
Lin Yuan had not yet noticed the pink glow coming from Li Xuan’s hand with the mist billowing into the fey carriage.
But the sound of a beating heart soon drew Lin Yuan’s attention.
Lin Yuan looked over and realized that the sound was coming from a pink rhombus gem.
He used True Data to check the pink rhombus gem.
Once he did, his eyes were permanently glued to the pink rhombus gem.
“Lin Yuan, take a look at this source-type lifeform Fairy’s Heart,” said Li Xuan.
Li Xuan handed the Fairy’s Heart to Lin Yuan.
Li Xuan had been reluctant to show the Fairy’s Heart, but he felt determined once he passed it on to Lin Yuan.
He did not launch into an introduction of the Fairy’s Heart’s abilities.
Since Lin Yuan was the Moon Empress’ disciple, he should be able to easily see what made the Fairy’s Heart so precious.
When Lin Yuan saw the Fairy’s Heart, he decided that he had to trade for it.
He had never divulged to anyone outside of the Return from Faraway Mansion about how he had Law Crystals.
But if Li Xuan wanted to trade for the Fairy’s Heart with Law Crystals, Lin Yuan would agree without hesitation.
The Fairy’s Heart’s abilities were just too important to Lin Yuan. It was utterly different from regular source-type lifeforms.
Regular source-type feys could form contracts with spirit qi professionals, and those that were slightly special would rely on residing in the bodies of other feys or source-type lifeforms to survive like the Acid Corrosion Queen Bee.
However, the Fairy’s Heart was completely different.
The information from True Data stated that the Fairy’s Heart could be combined with any fey.
After it was combined, it would allow the fey to transform into a fairy-type source-type lifeform.
However, the Fairy’s Heart would not disappear after it was used. Instead, it would enter the fey’s body to replace its mind and soul without affecting the fey’s original abilities and evolution potential.
Once it entered the fey’s body, a small fairy would hatch from it after some time.
When the small fairy opened its eyes, the first person it saw would become its faith and its everything.
Lin Yuan felt that this combination between the Fairy’s Heart and a fey was something out of a fantasy novel.
The fey that was combined with the Fairy’s Heart might transform into a fairy source-type lifeform, but it would lose its original mind and soul.
Hence, Lin Yuan could not use the Fairy’s Heart on the feys he had contracted.
If Lin Yuan used it on the feys he had contracted, they would undoubtedly change after their minds and souls were replaced.
They would no longer be Lin Yuan’s partners.
Frankly, it was unrealistic for him to combine the Fairy’s Heart with his own feys.
According to the Fairy’s Heart’s abilities, it could turn any fey into fairy-type lifeforms.
However, there were strict conditions or rather probabilities to consider.
Firstly, the Fairy’s Heart could only combine with feys and not source-type lifeforms, and the fey could not be a higher grade than Silver.
Next, the Fairy’s Heart’s own spiritual energy and soul were not strong, and it would be rebutted by the mind and soul of the fey it combined with if the fey was too strong-headed.
It would result in both the minds and souls of the fey and the Fairy’s Heart mutually destroying each other, resulting in both lifeforms dying.
The smarter the fey, the higher the chance of failure when it transformed into a fairy-type source-type lifeform.
Hence, it seemed the safest to choose plant-type feys because their spiritual energies and souls were exceptionally weak at Silver grade.
As long as the Fairy’s Heart was combined with a plant-type fey of Silver grade and below and was not affected by external disturbances, the success rate should be 100%.
Moreover, the Fairy’s Heart’s method of recognizing its owner was simple and secure. It could not be more convenient.
If the Fairy’s Heart could transform a plant-type fey into a fairy-type fey, it would be like giving the plant-type fey the gift of freedom.
This would fix two of the plant-type fey’s flaws.
With the intelligence of a fairy-type fey, the plant-type fey would be able to perfectly carry out a spirit qi professional’s orders.
After a fairy-type lifeform hatched from inside the plant-type fey, the plant would continue to exist.
However, the plant’s abilities would be centered in the hatched fairy’s body, and the plant would become an incubator.
If the hatched fairy-type lifeform was killed outside of the plant, it would not actually die.
With a large amount of spirit qi and some time spent under warmth, it would hatch in the plant’s body again.
As long as there was enough spirit qi, the fairy-type lifeform that hatched from the Fairy’s Heart would not die.
The last thing Lin Yuan lacked was spirit qi.
Li Xuan watched as Lin Yuan remained silent. He grit his teeth, and another identical Fairy’s Heart appeared.
Li Xuan handed the other the Fairy’s Heart’s to Lin Yuan and said, “This Fairy’s Heart was found in a Class 4 dimensional rift. It came as a pair. If it’s possible, I would like to use these Fairy’s Hearts to trade for one Golden Lotus Brocade Pearl.”
When Lin Yuan received the second Fairy’s Heart, a broad smile stretched across his face.
He had been struggling over the usage of the Fairy’s Heart. The moment he saw the Fairy’s Heart, he immediately had two plant-type feys in his mind.
However, the issue was now solved without him lifting a finger.
Now both plant-type feys could be used.
