The color of the fawn’s fur was very light, and there were white spots all over its coat. Its limbs were long and elegant. It didn’t have any antlers, though they were unsure if it was because it was a female deer or because it was still too young. Its furry, pointed ears made it look like a genie of the forest that was favored by the Goddess of Nature.
At this time, its round eyes were fixed on…the deer crackers in Xiang Yi’s hand.
An incredible conjecture surfaced in everyone’s mind.
‘Surely this fawn didn’t appear just to take a bite out of the crackers, right?’
Xiang Yi blinked, lifted the hem of her dress, and walked towards the fawn.
Viscount Albert warned softly, “Watch out! This breed of deer is very vicious and menacing!”
In the next second…
The fawn scurried toward Xiang Yi and bit the deer cracker that she was holding.
The sounds of the fawn chewing were exceptionally clear in the silent surroundings.
While eating, the deer rubbed its head against Xiang Yi’s hand.
Xiang Yi was slightly surprised, but she soon burst into laughter and rubbed its head gently.
The little deer squinted comfortably as if it had reached the pinnacle of its life.
Everyone was speechless.
‘Isn’t it supposed to be ferocious and menacing?’
‘It’s so docile and tame!’
Viscount Albert was about to have an emotional breakdown because he had been hit in the buttocks by a male deer years ago!
‘Are fawns just more obedient?’
Ryan snapped a few photos, but the angles that she shot from weren’t exactly ideal. Just as he was about to continue, the deer intelligently scampered back into the forest at an incredible speed.
He had no choice but to give up and he proceeded to select a spot with old trees and a flowerbed as the backdrop.
With a photographer who didn’t pull any tricks, the photoshoot proceeded very smoothly.
Xiang Yi knew how to act in front of the camera and posed exactly the way she should in a fashion shoot. Each photo was as beautiful as a painting and the results were far better than the lousy photos that Steve had taken!
“Perfect!” Ryan was extremely excited.
After looking at the final photos, Sophia was very satisfied too.
The crew intended to call it a day and return to the castle, but they suddenly heard some rustling sounds.
They looked over, only to see that there were at least more than ten deers that gathered from the depths of the forest…
Everyone was dumbfounded.
‘What? That fawn brought its entire family here for a free meal after it was given a free snack just now!?’
The leading fawn was quite brave to dash toward Xiang Yi like a bolt of lightning. While standing beside Xiang Yi, it started bleating in a tender voice.
Everyone wondered, ‘Is…is it acting coquettishly!?!’
“Did you bring your family here?” Xiang Yi smiled and continued, “You’re lucky I made plenty of deer crackers.”
She took out the rest of the deer crackers, but she didn’t feed them to the deers all at once. Instead, she placed it at a spot that was some distance away from the deers and then returned to the original place where she was standing. She began feeding the deer quietly.
Gradually, some deer gently came forth to sniff the deer crackers…
In an instant, a stag with large and beautiful antlers bit the deer cracker like a kitten that saw catnip and swallowed it!
It swallowed the cracker!
The other deers quickly swarmed over.
Albert was in a trance, and he suddenly realized that the deer might have attacked humans frequently in order to get some food.
He carefully recalled his encounter. ‘When I was getting chased by the deer at that time, I seemed to have been eating strawberries…’
The photographer Ryan couldn’t hide or contain his excitement at all as he stood up or squatted down to capture some photos. He even sprawled onto the ground for the sake of getting a special angle, and started snapping photos continuously using the DSLR!
It was such a beautiful scene!
It resembled the scenes in movies where the telephoto lens slowly zoomed out. The flowers and trees outlined the colorful background, making it look like an oil painting. The deers and Xiang Yi formed a pleasant and harmonious natural rhythm, and even the light was of the right brightness and warmth. Even the majestic castle in the distance was reduced to being a complementary background.
All the beautiful scenery in the world was inferior to this!
