The third performance of narrative ballet went on for about ten minutes before it finally came to an end.
Ji Yang grabbed onto Mu Siyin excitedly and said, “Yinyin, shall we go backstage to look for Qiuci? I guess it’ll take a while for her to come out.”
Mu Siyin thought that it was a good idea.
Hence, she looked at Shi Beiyu and said, “You guys can head back to the car first. Yangyang and I will look for Qiuci. We haven’t spoken to her yet since she came back today.”
Still seated, Shi Beiyu stared at Mu Siyin without saying a word.
Mu Siyin said coquettishly, “Is it alright?”
When Shi Beiyu saw Mu Siyin’s behavior, he answered helplessly, “Alright. We’ll treat everyone to dinner later.”
Mu Siyin felt so elated that she grabbed Shi Beiyu’s hands and kissed him. “Okay!”
Seeing that Mu Siyin and Ji Yang were going to look for Xiang Qiuci, Lu Jingchen immediately said, “I’m coming too.”
Ji Yang got up and glared at him. “Most of the performers backstage are girls, and they’re still changing out of their costumes at this time. Why are you coming along? To take a peek at them?”
Lu Jingchen was speechless.
Mu Siyin and Ji Yang came backstage excitedly. It was just as what Ji Yang had mentioned — everyone was changing out of their costumes.
Since they were friends of Xiang Qiuci, the staff personally brought them to Xiang Qiuci’s dressing room.
Xiang Qiuci took off her hair accessories and let down her beautiful, long, black seaweed-like hair. When she saw Mu Siyin and Ji Yang, she stood up from her dressing table in surprise.
“Yinyin, Yangyang!”
Mu Siyin stepped forward and reached out her arms to give Qiuci a big hug. “You’re finally back, Qiuci!”
Xiang Qiuci patted Mu Siyin on the back and said with a smile, “I’ve been so busy with rehearsals lately and haven’t had the time to get in touch with both of you. I’m so sorry.”
Mu Siyin let go of her hands before she looked at Qiuci and said, “We know. You’re a busy bee.”
Xiang Qiuci laughed helplessly. “It’s my fault. I’ll try to spare more time in the future. Otherwise, I’ll feel burned out if I keep at this pace every day.”
Ji Yang, however, stared at the dressing table in surprise and asked, “Which fan of yours sent you those flowers, Qiuci?”
Upon hearing that, Mu Siyin could not help but look towards the dressing table too.
There was indeed a bouquet of delicate pink freesia.
Mu Siyin was surprised. “Yeah, Qiuci. Isn’t pink freesia your favorite flower? Who sent it?”
Xiang Qiuci knitted her eyebrows slightly and said, “I have no idea. The staff brought the flowers in and told me they were from someone named Mr. Leng. I haven’t had the time to check.”
Mu Siyin was stunned to hear that. She paced forward and took out the pink card from the flowers. The inscription was indeed Mr. Leng.
She did not have to guess anymore. Leng Jiuchen must be the one who sent those flowers.
Leng Jiuchen seemed cold on the outside, but he sure had his way of chasing girls.
He had already gotten her flowers even when they had never met yet.
Upon hearing the surname, Ji Yang suddenly paused for a while too. Nevertheless, Leng Jiuchen did not come to her mind.
She looked at Xiang Qiuci and said jokingly, “These must be from one of your fans, Qiuci.”
Xiang Qiuci laughed. “It should be.”
However, Mu Siyin said, “These flowers are probably from Leng Jiuchen.”
As soon as she said that, Ji Yang and Xiang Qiuci were both stunned!
The name Leng Jiuchen was well known in China.
Hence, Xiang Qiuci and Ji Yang must have been shocked when Mu Siyin said that he was the one who sent those flowers.
Xiang Qiuci was stunned for a while before she looked at Mu Siyin and said instinctively, “No way…”
