Chapter 878: I Want to Be in the Same Room with You
Jiang Yuning paused briefly, lowered his head and asked, “My own hands?”
Nian Xi didn’t respond but thought, Can it possibly be anyone else’s hands?
She pictured that scene, and then found it extremely unacceptable. Even her cheeks turned red. “Yeah, your own hands. No one else should touch that part of your body.”
“But you touched it,” said Jiang Yuning with a grievance. “You even grabbed it.”
Nian Xi really wanted to bite off her tongue. “That was an accident. Just write. I found that you’re good at writing.”
He could really be troublesome if he got used to talking. She didn’t dare talk to him again.

The flight lasted for over ten hours and Nian Xi slept for about five. The plane finally landed at Charles De Gaulle Airport in the afternoon. The organizer of the conference picked them up and drove them to the hotel.
For Jiang Yuning’s safety, they would all live in a large suite, which had two stories.
Zhan Hong and the others would live on the first floor, while Nian Xi, Xu Gang and Jiang Yuning on the second floor. Xu Gang would sleep in the same room with Jiang Yuning, in case of an emergency at night.
However, when he followed Jiang Yuning into his room, the latter stopped him, then pointed at Nian Xi who was walking into the room across the hall.
Xu Gang smiled and said, “Mr. Jiang, Miss Nian is a girl after all. It’s not appropriate for her to share a room with you. Also, have you forgotten that it’s always me who sleeps in the same room as you?”
You can’t forget about me once you meet a pretty girl, he thought.
Jiang Yuning shook his head, then walked out, dragging Nian Xi by her arm. He then pushed her suitcase into his room.
Nian Xi was speechless.
Xu Gang found it both annoying and funny. “Mr. Jiang, has Miss. Nian agreed yet?”
Nian Xi nodded. Finally, someone asked about her feelings. “Yeah, you’re a guy and I’m a girl. Besides, Mr. Xu is a better fighter than I am, and he has worked with you for a long time.”
Jiang Yuning lowered his head, took out his notepad again and wrote —’He snores. He’s noisy.’
Xu Gang’s heart broke.
Jiang Yuning kept writing, ‘Like a motorcycle, rumbling…’
“Enough, stop writing. I know that you’re a good writer. I’ll be in next door. Officer Nian, I’ll leave him to you.” Xu Gang turned and left with his suitcase.
Nian Xi didn’t know how to handle the situation. “Uh, I snore too. Like thunder,” she said.
Jiang Yuning paused, and then wrote —’You should sleep in my room then. Don’t disturb the others.’
Nian Xi didn’t know what to say. Sometimes she suspected that he was just playing dumb. “But, I’ll be disturbing you. You’re attending the International Physics Conference soon. You need to rest well and be focused.”
Jiang Yuning abruptly pressed his lips together and gave a naughty smile, then wrote —’In fact, I can sleep when people are snoring. I just want to be in the same room with you.’
Nian Xi found herself having dirty thoughts. She wanted to stay pure-minded, yet she couldn’t.
“Why?” She asked.
‘Because you’re my friend,’ Jiang Yuning wrote.
Nian Xi sighed with relief, then said, “But Xu Gang is your friend too.”
Jiang Yuning knitted his brows and started thinking. At last, he wrote —’You’re prettier than him.’
Alright. That could be the answer to all questions.
The world was ruled by pretty people.
Zhan Hong walked over, patted Nian Xi on the shoulder and said, “Just listen to Mr. Jiang. Don’t sleep too deep at night. Also, unpack your things as quickly as possible, then check this entire place. See if there’s any hidden cameras or anything like that. We’re in someone else’s place after all.”
Nian Xi nodded. There was only one bed in the room, so she made herself a bed on the floor.
