The cosmic civilizations were divided into the following, from low to high:
Planetary civilization.
Stellar civilization.
Galactic civilization
Supergalactic civilization.
Grand Unified civilization…
And even higher levels of civilization.
The question was, what was a Grand Unified civilization?
The Grand Unified Civilization stemmed from the physics’ Grand Unified Theory. The Grand Unified Theory is also known as the law of all things.
Since there were only four interaction forces between microscopic particles—gravitation, electromagnetic, strong interaction forces, and weak interaction forces—all phenomena in the universe could be explained by these four forces.
Meanwhile, the Grand Unified Theory was the connection and unity between these four forces. It explained their interaction and how they were linked to each other.
It was a pity that finding the connection between these four forces was just too difficult, and that alone had stumped countless intelligent civilizations.
So, it was difficult to find a Grand Unified Civilization. A civilization that managed to discover the theory and prove it could become a Grand Unified Civilization.
A Grand Unified Civilization was very strong. Be it in material or energy conversion, they had reached the apex of it. For example, the most representative weapon of a Grand Unification Civilization was the graviton bomb!
A graviton bomb could release the same gravity as a neutron star in an instant. Everything within its blast radius, whose speed is lower than the speed of light, would instantly be compressed into hydrogen atoms.
That was the graviton bomb!
The power of a graviton bomb was so devastating that even Sun Wukong’s ability to fly tens of thousands of miles in a single somersault meant nothing.
A graviton bomb could instantly turn the Great Saint into a blob of hydrogen in an instant without a chance to escape at all. That was the power and terror of the Grand Unified Civilization.
Therefore, Ling Jiu was very curious about this spaceship that came from a Grand Unified Civilization, which civilization was it from?
Why did it come to Earth?
Why did it become the Demon-Sealing Tower?
With these questions in mind, Ling Jiu entered the spacecraft without much hesitation.
What met him was total darkness, but a series of menacing aura was like a broiler in the night, exuding a terrifying aura as they wantonly pressed against Ling Jiu.
Even with his training, Ling Jiu still felt fear and trembled. “How many supergalactic lifeforms are there in particular here?”
“Not many, just 10,086 of them.”
Leoux sniggered and said, “There are nine Apex supergalactic lifeforms, eighty-one Level 9 supergalactic lifeforms, and the rest are all Level 7 or 8 ones.”
“Heh, there’s really no weak ones at all. Even if there was, all of them would have already been eaten long ago.”
“Indeed!”
Ling Jiu took a deep breath. “Leoux, what should we do next?”
“Let’s look from the command core of this spaceship first,” Leoux said.
“I want to know which civilization this spaceship came from.”
“Yeah.”
Ling Jiu nodded. “Let’s hurry.”
“Already on it! But the alien civilization that built this ship is quite accomplished in the realm of space, so the interior of the spaceship is quite big, and it’ll take time.”
“Roar!!!”
At that moment, a low roar rang out, and Ling Jiu immediately turned around. He then saw two crimson beams of light piercing through the darkness and lighting up the area.
With Ling Jiu’s eyesight, he could naturally tell what the light beam was. They were clearly two eyeballs.
The owner of the eyes was a small Direbeast about ten feet in length. It looked like a snake but had black scales all over it, and there were ten pairs of black wings on its back, and on its menacing draconic face was a pair of antler horns and four claws beneath its abdomen.
“Roar!!!”
The Direbeast had obviously spotted Ling Jiu by chance, and it was puzzled. How come there was a person in the tower?
However, when it reacted, it let out an earth-shaking roar that almost pierced Ling Jiu’s eardrums. The next moment, it flapped its wings as it charged over.
“Sh*t! We’ve been discovered!”
Ling Jiu cursed to himself as he immediately switched to his Golden Saiyan Ape avatar and raised his fist to meet the Direbeast.
Krak!!
Ling Jiu’s fist and the Direbeast’s claws collided, and following a thunderclap, Ling Jiu was sent flying.
He only managed to stop after flying for more than ten miles, and when he took a glance at the Direbeast, it was fine.
Then, it charged over again.
“Bloody hell! There’s no end to this!”
Ling Jiu was furious as his momentum shot up like a rocket.
If someone were to scan Ling Jiu’s combat power at this moment with a scanner, they will find his combat power soaring wildly, shattering all indicators.
“Again!”
Ling Jiu bellowed and charged over himself.
Baaaam!!
The two collided again, and even though the dimension inside the spaceship was far sturdier than the outside world, it was slowly coming apart as the two sides clashed.
Both sides were sent flying again following their clash. Ling Jiu flew hundreds of meters away, while the Direbeasts only dozens of meters back.
The result surprised the Direbeast, and it did not continue its attack. Instead, it stared at Ling Jiu coldly with its blood-colored eyes.
“Manling, who are you? I’ve never seen you inside the Demon-Sealing Tower!”
“I’ve just entered it, of course you haven’t seen me before,” Ling Jiu said faintly.
“Just entered it?”
The Direbeast frowned. “It has been a long time since someone entered the tower, and you are the first one in the last thousands of years. You are strong! However, you are a human, not a beast, why were you sent here? This defies reason.”
“You’re a Direbeast, why do you speak so much drivel? Do you want to fight or not?” Ling Jiu asked unhappily.
“No, no fighting.”
The Direbeast shook its head. “The tower is isolated from the outside world and cannot receive the nourishment of immortal qi. You are strong, and I cannot kill you.”
“A senseless battle will only consume my own vitality, so no, I’m not fighting you.”
“Uh…”
Ling Jiu was stunned. In his mind, Direbeasts were all brutal creatures. If they could fight with you they would not waste words on you. It seemed like the one here was somewhat different?
However, after thinking about it, Ling Jiu found that it was understandable. The Demon-Sealing Tower was indeed isolated from the outside world.
It was bereft of any influx of Gene Arcana or Dark Bio-energy. Even the oxygen in the air was pitifully low. With no food supply, they really did not have any nourishment.
Fighting there was simply consuming one’s life force!
Most importantly, after being imprisoned there for 5,000 years, even the most brutal and tyrannical of Direbeasts would have mellowed out.
Thinking of it this way, Ling Jiu felt a little sympathy for these guys.
“Big guy, what’s your name?” Ling Jiu asked, looking at the Direbeast.
“The Nine-Winged Skydragon.”
The Direbeast got up after it nonchalantly replied while it lay on the ground lazily. Just like Jabba the Hut[1]t lazed on his seat, it exuded a decadent and depressed temperament. “Human, how is the world outside doing?”
“The world outside?”
Ling Jiu raised his eyebrows. “The world outside has changed a lot!”
“Tell me,” the Nine-Winged Skydragon said slothfully.
“Five thousand years since, huh.”
Ling Jiu shook his head and smiled. “The Yanhuang pantheon and the masters of Mount Shu that had imprisoned you all here 5,000 years ago have long since disappeared…”
The next moment, Ling Jiu casually talked about the situation on Earth, and when it heard about the previous advent of the gods, the Nine-Winged Skydragon was extremely disdainful.
“A group of savage gods dare to run wild on the divine land. They want to die huh!”
“Sadly I am being locked up in here, or else I would have swallowed them whole in a bite!”
“Yeah, when there are no tigers in the mountains, the monkeys reign as king.” Ling Jiu laughed.
He had no illusions about the strength of the Nine-Winged Skydragon, as an apex supergalactic lifeform. It indeed had the right to look down upon the gods.
“Then what happened to them?” it asked.
“Then…”
