As the elves continued to discuss, the gate to the advanced training camp slowly opened. Two teams of elves wearing light armour came out of the gate. In the center, a white-bearded old man slowly walked out. The old man looked around eighty or ninety years old; however, according to the lifespan of elves, it could be said that this elf must be at least three hundred years old.
Although he was too old, this man did not look that old. Contrary to what one might expect, he looked like an immortal; his green eyes were deep and unfathomable, and they quietly scanned the new batch of elves joining the advanced training camp.
The elves who were gossiping just before, immediately became quiet and stood well-behaved in their place.
They all knew that the old man before them was the same elder as the one who a.s.sisted the previous two generations of Elf Kings. Now that he was advancing into his old age, he took over the advanced training camp. No one really knew his real name; everyone just called him Elder Yue.
Not to mention these black elves, even the current Elf King still needed to give this Elder Yue some face.
Elder Yue’s gaze swept across the twenty elves or so in the surrounding. Without even opening his mouth, he turned back and went inside the training camp again.
The elves standing outside the gate thought whether to follow him or not.
Just as they were hesitating, an elf in light armor came out of the training camp.
“I am Qie Er of the advanced training camp. In the next six months, I will be responsible for training your batch. Now you have to group yourselves by twos and choose your roommate.” Qie Er duitily said.
As soon as Qie Er said it, all the elves looked around to find their future roommates. They were all in a hurry because they did not wish to be a.s.sociated with, nor even live in the same room as that traitor of the Moonshine Tribe and that elf that came from who knew where.
Pretty soon, more than twenty elves found their roommates. Shen Yanxiao and the elf from the Moonshine Tribe were apparently thrown aside.
Shen Yanxiao glanced at that elf, and the other party seemed to be aware of what was currently happening.
Soon, the two of them had a very tacit understanding regarding the ident.i.ty of their roommate for the next six months.
Shen Yanxiao could be said to be the only woman in this group of elves, but unlike the human world, the elves did not put so much distinction between the two genders.
Whether if it were a male or female, the elves were equally tall and attractive. Female elves also did not have a low status in the elves’ society; hence, it could be said that both genders had an even distribution.
Moreover, the hara.s.sment incidents that often occured in the human society were absolutely impossible to see in the elves’ society, since it was impossible for a prideful and filled with self-control elf to hara.s.s a female elf in broad daylight. They would merely gaze sideways and act as if they did not see them.
For the Elves, beauty was both applicable to both genders.
Qie Er looked at the thirteen teams formed and nodded slightly, showing how satisfied he was, “Good, you all follow me now, I will take you all to your rooms.” After finishing his words, Qie Er turned around and walked ahead.
The rest of the elves quickly followed; no one dared to say another word.
Shen Yanxiao and the elf from the Moonshine Tribe were walking at the end of the procession, their mouths closed and with no signs of opening.
In the advanced training camp, their dormitory room and the training ground were in two places opposite to each other. The surroundings of the accommodation were very similar to those of Fragrant Night City that Shen Yanxiao had seen; there were tree houses on top of the huge trees.
