“Good morning, ma’am; why are you up so early?”
She saw Alice when she stepped out of her room.
“How many times have I told you not to call me that? Just call me Ge Ge…” she chided softly, looking at Alice with a smile.
“Ma’am.”
Stubborn, the girl refused to change her form of address to her.
“Fine, fine. Do as you will.”
She tidied her hair then headed to the kitchen.
“Ma’am, I’ve already made breakfast.”
“It’s fine; I want to cook the kids their favorites.”
With that, she got busy in the kitchen.
Breakfast was made quickly. Just as she emerged from the bathroom after cleaning herself, she saw her kids climbing out of bed in their pastel pajamas.
“Good morning, mommy.”

The two kids grabbed onto her thighs as they greeted her with a yawn.

“Egger? Why are you here so early?”
